No, not at all. We're going to sit back in our armchairs, mentally contort ourselves into believing that the effort is doomed to fail whatever developments occur. That way (guess what!), DJT looks bad.

Cutting edge stuff ya got there.

They're losing support, so they just got Marco to go out and say the war is over?

I concur, been saying the same about providing small arms. And if we can arrange to get many of their military drones into resistance hands...

Didn’t Iran just launch a bunch of missiles?

Trump is trying to build an off ramp to limp off of after this colossal frickup and miscalculation. I hope I’m wrong but nothing lines up with what this admin has been telling us

If what he is saying is true there was never a reason to go to war We were already using economic statecraft to strangle their economy

IF what he says is true then not exactly. We used sanctions but they were easy to get around. The blockade enforces the sanctions, blockade wasn’t possible until we obliterated their navy and ballistic missile capabilities or else our naval assets would have been at risk.

What he says makes sense from a strategy standpoint, and would work on a normal country. But I think he is miscalculating two things:

1 That the economy crash will break the mullahs and IRGC. It won’t. These fanatics will die before surrendering. Either from fighting us, from starvation, or at the hands of the Iranian people. But surrender or flee they will not do.

2. That the economic crash will lead to Iranians rising up to overthrow the regime. I’m not sure it will. Maybe if we got weapons to them, but as long as the IRGC has bullets to use the people wont rise up. They fear the IRGC too much

Those were the people that got murdered by the regime in January and February. There was already an uprising over the economy.

Good to hear that the war is over for the 3rd or 4th time.

Even a peace deal will almost certainly mean the dissolution of the Iranian regime and the withering away of its terrorist proxies.

Cry about it, TDS f@ggot.

Same leadership? You mean after the four layers or leadership we killed? Nothing has changed? You sure about that?

You're a TDS bitch who roots for Iran over the USA because of your TDS. I'd tell you to eat a bag of dicks and choke on them... but you'd probably enjoy that.

At least they are admitting it was a war. They denied that forever

Nice melt. Sounds like you are the one with actual TDS and by that I mean Trump Deity Syndrome. This war was stupid in the first place. Most people just want to get back to paying a normal price for gasoline and have our government actually work to lower costs for Americans instead of yet another boondoggle in the middle east.

Of course Iran is not done, but that regime will change for the 4th time in less than 75 days. I want the Iranian people to be free after 47 years of bondage.

Right and they’ve been quiet since even after begging for our help. The regime already quelled the uprising and without weapons I don’t think they go against the IRGC again. Honestly we took too long to attack and should have started while the riots were going on even if it was some token missile launches. By the time we got assets in place to attack the momentum was lost. I get why we waited, Trump was protecting our assets and our allies before attacking which I appreciate. But it still cost us the momentum of having the Iranian people in the streets killing IRGC soldiers while we hit military targets

Was taking out the leadership in the beginning a mistake? It seems like even if we wanted to negotiate with someone there is nobody that can truly have an impact.
