Part of me hopes they lean towards banning all firearms outside of the weapons that were available when the 2A was drafted.......we might as well get ready to rumble.

Now, THIS one will be interesting. “Shall not be infringed” is pretty darn clear. At worst, this should be a 6-3 split for the ability to possess these guns.

If they rule against it, then you know the Globalists are in the henhouse and expect Dems to begin gun bans. It’ll be the beginning of the end, or at least time for “We the People” to end the tyrannical government.

The 1 thing this version of SCOTUS will be known (and currently celebrated) for is more clearly defining the 2nd Amendment

Many cases about 2A have generally been kicked down the road until this version of the Court

DC vs Heller deemed the AR-15 a commonly used/owned weapon. More people own an AR than any other weapon design.

ETA: Before some dumbass says that people shouldn't own a weapon of war, the AR-15 has never once been used in a military skirmish, war or anything else.

This won’t affect anyone here since we all lost our firearms in the 2014 TD Regatta race. What a tragedy.

The liberal talking point will always be "You don't need that to hunt"

Anyone who reads the constitution recognizes that the citizens that drafted the constitution were not looking to protect a man's right to hunt, they were aiming to protect a man's right to live.

"well they didnt know there would be tanks, and automatic machine guns, and grenades"

Their intent is clear, citizen protection from a tyrannical government... which means anything and everything should be legal. If the government can have one then I should be able to have one to use against said government

KBJ is already writing her 12 page word salad dissent on how these were never meant to be included as arms in the 2A, because racism or something.

FINALLY

What's funny is all these newfound textualists who are celebrating the birthright citizenship ruling will turn around and scream "But the founders never could have envisioned an AR-15!!!"
