Cliffs:
1. Russia is shaping the battlefield
2. 60k reservists are being deployed and integrated to fortify the rear and hold Ukraine forces in place
3. Phase 2 offensive about to take place that will push the bulk offensive of Russian troops towards the center of Ukraine while enveloping both Kiev and Oddessa.
Once phase two starts, he expects rapid mobility that would push troops into position in less than two weeks. Ritter expects zelensky to fold at that point rather than a phase 3 objective to take place.

Obviously the original objective failed. I don’t doubt Russia is reinforcing troops and positions, but the question should be on the new objective.
Russia can’t retreat. That might result in Putins collapse. So are they pushing for a stalemate and to just strength current territory?
Or do they still aim for capitulation of Zelensky? That can’t happen without another offensive.

Took a look and read one article, "A MIXED BAG: PUTIN’S UKRAINE WAR AND THE FIGHT AGAINST EUROPE’S AUTHORITARIANS". That article was a EU/WEF propaganda piece. Makes me leery of the whole site. So no thanks.

It will be interesting to see the back pedaling when Russia fails at this too. Can any of you anti-Ukraine folks tell us what plan C is for Russia and go ahead and start explaining why plan C was the goal all along???
