We're open, but we're no longer restocking.

Welcome to the A&P folks.
Hope you like bananas, because that's all we got.

They literally said this about Walgreen’s.
It’s a very short path from here to state-run stores.
I’ll bet you hear someone in Cali propose it in the next 12 months.

Six months will give everyone enough time to steal all of the inventory and shite all over the store. Saves the grocery store money so they don’t have to pay to move their products.

Cali people are idiots.
They aren’t capitalists. They want in effect what China has economically which is by no means a free market.
Coastal CA has completely left the reservation by nearly every objective measure. They are post American as far I’m concerned and the only question is what happens moving forward.

Not all Cali people. SF government is a special case.

Its hard to believe how bad they are at governing.

Probably need to pull out of California

California is where we are headed if the left continues its power grab. It isnt hard to see how horrifying the future will be if we dont act. They'll probably make Newsome their next presidential nominee.
Republicans should never lose another election, but they'll find a way to screw it up

You clearly aren’t aware of Orange County or, for that matter, the central valleys.

Why not just sue the shoplifters since you won't arrest them?
I've always wondered why these big mouths and their rich supporters won't open their own stores? You can sell all the fresh produce you want, charge the prices you want and pay the living wages you support.
But unless I missed the big announcement Obama and company haven't done jack but run their mouths.

A) I said coastal CA
B) OC is a small blip that isn't even red anymore from a voting stand point. Biden won it by 10% in 2020.

they would just make it retroactive

Lol watch every remaining grocery store in SF close to get in front of this
Hell, a new store could immediately apply with the 6 month notice. Then, if they don't have problems they can cancel and start a new notice at the same time. They will always be ready to leave legally.

Because their voters quality of life is going down by the same politicians that they elect. It's an endless toxic cycle. Like Mr. Wonderful always says "California and New York are loser states and you have to be insane to invest new capital there."
