Beats MAGA shill Aaron Flint in Montana’s 1st Congressional district. Finally, those of us in western Montana will have someone to actually represent us in DC. A smokejumper, public lands advocate, and union leader.

Lol. Just what we need. Maybe we can make our entire state flag trans while we’re at it.
What is your definition of “public lands advocate” and in what ways have the Dems improved: food sourcing, wildfires, etc?
I know the idiotic Missoula stock answer. Can you give my your own version?

He will do exactly as he is told. Only a fool believes the fairy tale that they are really represented in Congress.

Hakeem the Dream is his boss.
Imagine being excited to have a peon in service to that a-hole.
These people are morons to expect anything useful from democrats.

So when he votes just like AOC how will that make the non commies in Montana feel?

Missoula, Bozeman, Kalispell. Not that big of a surprise. The migration from CA to that area has been consistent, I think.
I’m not saying that’s positive or negative. I don’t live there.

Forstag ran a clean campaign with his promise to keep public lands in public hands, and that’s a big deal out here. Flint, on the other hand, is aligned with the billionaire interests that want to sell off our public lands to the highest bidder. The difference couldn’t be clearer.
Wildfires? Hmmm… that seems like a no-brainer, don’t ya think? We were told by our president to just rake the forests, but that clearly hasn’t worked out.
Management starts with investing in the workforce and funding good paying jobs, not stripping away the very resources and people needed to do the work.
The climate crisis is a major driver of increasingly severe wildfire conditions. Until we’re willing to confront the environmental consequences of our consumer driven lifestyles and make meaningful changes, we’re just going to keep having the same conversation while the problem gets worse. We can’t keep ignoring the bigger picture.
And food? We need to hold corporations accountable for contaminating our food supply, and that includes addressing the use of glyphosate. Big Ag deserves just as much scrutiny for its role in our nation’s obesity crisis as the medical industry does. We can’t keep treating the symptoms while ignoring the systems and industries contributing to the problem.

This election has really identified the idiots in this country.
You genuinely believe if he's faced with a choice of going with the Dem party (that got him elected) or you, he's going to choose you?

He aligns perfectly with AOC. She campaigned for him here, along with Bernie. The people of western Montana have spoken
