It was 2 unguided missiles with no intention to hit NATO targets. I don't think nothing will come of this.

I have honestly never heard of an unguided cruise missile. It seems like that would just be a very poor design and rather expensive to be honest.

Now if you said, they have a shitty guidance system and poor manufacturing or rampant corruption, I could actually probably believe that. Who knows, perhaps the quartermaster took the gyroscope out so he could fix his kids drone. "Pfft, not like they'll ever use this thing!".

Still no word on Putin's "doomsday submarine" that was postured as a threat that could kill us all, solely for maximum intimidation effect.

There has been word - From 4 days ago

Russia’s test of a nuclear-powered torpedo capable of carrying an atomic warhead 100 times more powerful than the Hiroshima bomb failed after suffering technical difficulties, US intelligence officials believe.

The Poseidon torpedo, which President Putin unveiled in 2018 as an “innovative new weapon”, was due to have been tested from the 30,000-ton Russian submarine Belgorod, in the Arctic.

However, the Belgorod, which at 178 metres is the longest submarine in the world, has returned to port at Severomorsk, the Russian Northern Fleet base, without any evidence of the Poseidon test having taken place.

The Russian navy has made a possible failed attempt to test one of its new nuclear-powered “apocalypse” Poseidon torpedoes designed to trigger radioactive tsunamis from hundreds of miles away, according to US observers.

The apparently botched exercise took place in the Arctic Sea in recent weeks and involved Russia’s behemoth Belgorod nuclear submarine, a senior US official told CNN.

Over the past week, Belgorod and other Russian ships were spotted leaving the testing area without carrying out a test, suggesting that the Kremlin’s navy had run into some technical issues that caused it to pull the plug on the torpedo launch.

The dumb fricks take brass fittings off their ships to pawn in town.

Then, to absolutely nobody's discernable surprise, they have a sub stuck on the ocean floor.

That sounds a little hard to control or to predict the collateral damage.

Of course it doesn’t for the Putin apologists who will defend him at every turn lol. The Russian military is and has always been a paper Tiger dating back to Napoleon. Without the aid of Mother Nature, Napoleon and Hitler would have steamrolled them with far fewer numbers than the Russians could muster. Do I think they intentionally targeted Poland? No, but that is irrelevant to Poland’s response. They have been itching for revenge on Russia for nearly a century

2. If there was verifiable radar tracking, does it prove, without a doubt, that they were fired from Russian forces ?

My best friend lived in Ukraine and had to flee when the war started, he basically ran a group that flew unmanned planes to do reconnaissance around Ukraine/Russian borders. Point being, he's about as pro Ukraine and anti Russia as you'll find, with a Ukrainian wife, blah blah blah.

Even he is telling me right now that you gotta wait and see. It's probably an errant Russian missile, but it certainly could also be a Ukrainian air defense missle that went haywire.

I think Russia apologizes and sends restitution for the damage and deaths.
They don’t want to escalate this on purpose.

Just a matter of time. The world has let a cancer meander. Not good. Escalation is bound to happen when you choose to let the cancer just fester.

Neocons want their war, by hook or by crook. We’re gonna liberate those Russian children so they can cut their dicks off and dye their hair pink.

Supposedly, so far they're saying it's not them, which seems like a weird play if it were them.

Obviously not saying that's a confirmation, but just a dumb play by Russia if it is indeed their missile, and it's certainly possible they're just making a dumb play.

Rumors are it was a missile fragment that may have been engaged by Ukraine defenses. Basically deflected off course by air defenses.

Seriously?

I would more surprised if Russia admitted to it. Obfuscation and denial is kind of their thing, in case you missed the last 95 years.
