They’ve got an out, NATO, do they not? Has that been said? Probably. The out is “Ukrainian forces unintentionally deflected fragments of the missile not intended by Russia to target Poland. Just a big misunderstanding guys.”

Mickey, you are actually one of the few Leftists on this board that I like and admire. I can disagree with you and yet still appreciate your position. But the absolute idiocy of these policies is pushing us to the brink of war. Have you read the stupidity in this spin off thread? Posters talking about going to war with Russia over a regional conflict. Cheer leading for it.

NATO member Poland called on Tuesday for emergency meetings of its national security council and cabinet.

Art 4 Investigation (Requested by Poland) and the findings are presented to NATO members.
Art 5, the point where Russia ceases to exist, is not automatic, depends on what the investigation turns up.

Hey I'm with you. I'm 100% against us getting any more involved than we already are. I actually wish we would take a step back from the level we are at right now. I feel like we've done more than enough to help Ukraine.
Also, a sincere thank you for your service. My dad, grandfather, uncle, and brother all served as well.
