That's one very vaguely written article.

I'm sure on site evidence will prove to be Soviet missiles. But, two questions:

1. We're said missiles tracked via radar from launch to impact.

2. If there was verifiable radar tracking, does it prove, without a doubt, that they were fired from Russian forces ?

Something just doesn't smell right about this entire event.....

I think we all agree that Russia cannot defeat NATO in a military conflict.

Think again. We are not ready. Our military has been cucked.

The General Accounting Office published a troubling study of the readiness of military aircraft that are essential to the air operations of the U.S. Army, the Navy, the Marine Corps and the Air Force:

GAO examined 49 aircraft and found that only four met their annual mission capable goal

The Navy is top heavy with too many fat arse Admirals.

Russia could not defeat the NATO forces currently stationed in Europe without using tactical nuclear weapons. They have zero capability to do so, and they haven't had that capability in 4 decades.

The have no ability -- at all -- to counter NATO's enormous (and it cannot be overstate, ENORMOUS) advantage in air power/capability.

I am no expert but I agree. Doesn’t seem like enough to justify war. Poland no doubt is allowed to be pissed over this, and they should be.

Poles have been chomping at the bit for decades to get some payback on Russia. I think the big fight is going to be trying to convince them not to retaliate (especially by just jumping into the Ukraine conflict with troops).

For all we know this could have been Ukrainian air defense missiles that went astray. Who knows.

The Poles have a lot of ugly history with Russia as does Ukraine, but Poland has only started to rebuild their military with advanced Western arms.

Biden to crank up the draft to make up for low recruitment numbers.

One point that cannot be over-emphasized, from the viewpoint of Poland.

A Russian missile did not just land in some empty field in Poland. It killed two Polish citizens ON POLISH SOIL.

Who wants to be part of this new woke army?

They created the problem and now can’t fix it.

How much does Poland hate Russia?

The Polish version of a genie joke is them wishing three times for a Mongol horde to pillage Poland. Why? Because they have to cross Russia twice on each pillage.

I agree. NATO is going to have to let them do something in return. It will just come down to what.

I could see some sort of denial of access or electronic interference with Kaliningrad.

Poland should ask Russia to pay generous compensation to the surviving relatives.

Poland should put Russia on notice that any further incursions will be regarded as an act of war and there will be a military response.

That's enough for now. It's awful, but crap like this happens in war.

Exactly. Don't think Lithuania, Estonia, etc. aren't also looking at this in a similar light.

The only way out of this really flaring up is for Putin to come out within the next few hours and do as heartfelt a mea culpa as he can muster. If he just shrugs and effectively says "meh", I think that infuriates the Poles and maybe a couple of others to join Ukraine.

At that point, the wheels come off the wagon and we get WW3.

But weren't we assured that this was "only about Ukraine-Crimea."

Will only harden the resolve of Poland and the other former "soviets" and quite a growing list of other countries.

Still no word on Putin's "doomsday submarine" that was postured as a threat that could kill us all, solely for maximum intimidation effect.

It's still out there drifting stealthily, quietly.

Even with their own devastating experience with nuclear, we still have to trust that it didn't go the way of the Kursk.

He pulled back on his threat of the smaller tactical nukes probably because someone reminded him of the potential problem with wind direction bringing it back to Russia.

This military venture hasn't gone the way he and his leftover, residual Bolshevik oligarchs planned.

How disappointed in him would be his mentor and role model - Lenin.

But he wasn't much of a military tactician either.

They have a more direct bitch with Putin over the plane crash at Katyn about a decade ago that killed a lot of top Polish politicians and celebrities because the Russian ATCs were being dickheads.
