Good to know.

You're like the ufc kid who hears an old braindamaged ex-prizefighter bragging about his exploits back in the day, and taunts him into a barfight.
Nah, I’m the kid who tells both of them that punching other people is a stupid fricking sport that I get zero entertainment from.

You have a 44 in your pocket as well. So WTF is the risk. Right? The guy is obviously postprime. All he has left are memories and his pride. As you kick his arse, and own his pride, he draws his own pistol and pops you twice dead center in the chest. Last thing you see is the flash. Worth it?
There is zero risk of nuclear escalation to the current conflict. Your pivot to that displays a level of emotional thinking which you haven’t displayed previously. Are you sure SDVTiger didn’t hijack your login credentials?

The situation near Artemovsk (Bakhmut) remains difficult for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and an attempt to improve the situation with the help of mercenaries was also unsuccessful. Moreover, the planning of military operations in this area by the US military led to even greater losses. Now the representatives of the US Army can also be blamed for the collapse of the front in this direction.
quote:
In general, the Americans planned the operation and the Armed Forces of Ukraine went on the offensive, ending in complete defeat.
quote:
It is reported that US representatives miscalculated the situation near Bakhmut and used the Armed Forces of Ukraine incorrectly, without understanding their combat capabilities. If the pace of the advance is maintained, the front of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in this direction may collapse, this can also be attributed to the Americans.

What the US needs to do to prevail in its proxy-war with Russia, is to enlist a coalition of nations (US, Poland, Romania, and UK) that are willing to commit combat troops to the conflict with the tacit understanding that NATO will not directly participate in any ground war with Russia.
Seems like a contradiction

quote:Yes, we actually are.quote:No we are not.
We're told almost daily that Ukraine is kicking Russia's arse.
But in the end this will suck for Ukraine.
Zelinsky was FAR too inexperienced a leader to handle any challenging situation. Much less one as challenging as any war lead-in in a century. He had zero gravitas.
As an ex-comedian who danced in a girl's bodysuit and stilettos, or played piano with his dick, Putin in-turn judged him to be FAR less politically competent than he actually was.
Bad bad bad combination!
I have no doubt Putin underestimated the situation based on Zelinsky and other Ukrainian issues. I have no doubt Putin thought he'd cut Ukraine in half at the Dnipro River. That didn't work out well. I have no doubt Putin realizes he f**k'd up.
Nonetheless, Ukraine isn't going to threaten Moscow. Moscow can obliterate Kiev.
Fair? Nope.
Zelinsky needs to sit with the best negotiators on the planet (assuming they'd all be made available for him .. looking at assholes like Boris Johnson)

Russia doesn't negotiate, though. They demand.
And then, like last February, even if the countries acquiesces, Russia will demand more.

Yes. All nations must capitulate to Russia at all times because they have scary nukes

It has never had meaning. That phrase has always been media-created bullshite. Nuclear powers lobbing thousands of missiles at each other has never actually been a realistic possibility.
Eta: It cannot be stated enough that there is zero risk of nuclear escalation in this current conflict.

Welcome to nuclear capacity in 1945, doubleb.
Lets perspective that.
The Civil War was as distant to B-29s and the A-Bomb as we are to 1945.
You cannot imagine an undetectable swim up device with a 100-megaton capacity exploding adjacent to the Lincoln Memorial, or in NY harbor, or Boston, or Norfolk, or Charleston, or Savannah, or Miami, or New Orleans, or St Louis, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.

And Putin knows what would happen if he utilized such a weapon.
