You just described how the GOPe has governed over the last 2.5 decades.

So Trumpism = the Uniparty?

They’re still working out the kinks of this new party. Give them some time. It’s not going to be completely coherent overnight.

I don't virtue signal and I have been clear he was on thin ice after his stupid abortion law in Florida (if my support of him is based on electability, he done goofed) and then lost my support fully when he criticized Trump's CJ reform law (a policy position combined with the above to paint a very scary picture to me)

Gumbopot. Believing Trump and his stance on SS tells me you are an idiot. Pretty fricking simple.

Be a man. Fix the problem. Don't kick the can down the road.

He also just described MAGA, which is why you're reminded often in these threads that you (and Trump) are GOPe AF.

Yes, walking the tight rope of electability and policy isn't their strong suit. That's why they retreat to vague "Strong Man" rhetoric.

Are you really of the belief it can be reformed? Really? I’m not talking about on paper. Sure mathematically it might work. But do you really believe that electing people to congress to apply that math is possible?

If not there is only one alternative left.

So, you're for obliterating the program rather than trying to fix it?

Yeah raising the age is a start. We live too long and SS needs to be recalculated for the longer life expectancy.

I mean hell, now that smoking has died out, I can only imagine how long non-obese people of the Millennial and Gen Z generation live for.

If you're buying votes with Leftism, let's just admit 2 things:

1. You support Leftism and aren't conservative
2. This is not some intelligent or creative election strategy

Trump the liberal.

Trump also claims polls are fake when they aren’t favorable.

Of course every body with one eye and half sense knows this is THE BIG LIE.

Trump is not worried about Social Security because he will be dead when it goes under in about ten years. And to be clear, Trump does NOT support getting rid of the IRS.

Yes, because Trump as well as most Democrats and Republicans just want to kick the can down the road. Most don't realize in about 10 years if something is not done the benefits to current enrollees are going to be slashed by as much as 24%

So Trump is in the mainstream as it applies to Social Security.......blissful ignorance

My stance on SS is beyond this or any election.

It all started with the FR, the 16th and the uniparty system. That’s the bigger picture.

I don’t know how you “fix” that with reforms.

In 2015 Trump ran as a fiscal conservative. He was anything but that. So we can disregard anything he claims he will do as nonsense.

What did Trump do that causes you to think this?

You seriously pretending he didn't say we would have a balanced budget and start paying down the debt? Because he definitely said that before he was president.

So your opinion is that there is nothing that can be done. Thankfully you support the candidate that won't be able to improve it.

Is this analogous to allowing a life-long smoker’s lungs to heal themselves?
