I like most of what he said.
I think it's too easy NOW to say he would have fired Fauci, though. Was he ever calling for such a thing at the time? Is he pretending not to remember the climate surrounding all of that from the time?
I'm not saying it SHOULDN'T have happened, but there was simply no way anyone in the president's shoes at the time was going to get away with doing it under the climate of the time. No way.

He really comes across as an adult to Trump's childishness.

Which confuses the Trump guys. It makes them lash out

I think he's playing politics there, for sure, b/c one of the big issues is Trump-Fauci v. RDS opening up Florida so early. Patriots are trying to claim Florida was locked down and Trump didn't support any lockdowns, etc.

The Establishment is bigly mad that Desantis is sinking in the polls
Sad Desantis turned into a wef globalist
Desantis would have trusted everyrhing Anthony told him

You people will tell any lie like progressives. It’s wild.

Voting for Trump more now.

And not a single frick was given.
They do say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery though.
I must have missed the part where DeSantis inflated his net worth, insulted women, immigrants and the handicapped and reeled off his list of childish nicknames. And DeSantis didn't weasle out of military service, change his party affiliation 5 times, or tell CNN's Wolf Blitzer that he identifies as a Democrat while donating money to the Democrat candidates.

To say he “fired back” is also a crazy overinflation.
It was a pretty measured response

We already know for a fact this is false.
Fauci basically repeatedly called him a murderer.

He didn’t come up with a stupid nickname
He literally won the Governorship of Florida airing ads reading Trumps books to his children and “building the wall” with toy blocks.

What a clear, concise, adult, and emotionally stable response from an actually good public servant.

That’s all pretty mild. I don’t see much venom in anything he said.
This, however, comes across as naive...
Statements like this lead me to wonder if he’s ready for prime time in DC as President. He doesn’t seem to appreciate the sheer power and numbers of people that will align to sabotage him in the federal bureaucracy.

“I also think just in terms of my approach to leadership, I get personnel in the Government who have the agenda of the people and share our agenda. You bring your own agenda in you’re gone. We’re just not gonna have that. So, the way we run the Government I think is no daily drama, focus on the big picture and put points on the board and I think that’s something that’s very important.”

DeSantos participation in covering the right position regards the Soros' city DA hassling Trump will fix his Presidential aspirations for the rest of his life. He needs to take a side over the next 7 days. Should he pick the wrong one, he will be a back water blow buddy for Pence
