Trump had it all going his way. But then he started the tariff stuff and kept changing his tune every other day. Fifty percent one day then seventyfiive the next. The War is over in two weeks, then it isn’t. The nuclear facilities are obliterated then they aren’t. He had Iran on their heels and then stopped. Had he kept blasting them and ended it all in August tonight would be much different.

Peter Thiel and Vance met in 2011 when JD was still in law school. Gave him a scholarship and hooked him up with VC jobs before Hillbilly Elegy came out.
