Maybe he wants to hear from the Bidens?
Sure he does. Romney has Family that cashed in on the Burisma/Ukraine corruption. He'll play hell upholding the Orange Man Bad/Immoral thing.
Graham should let it be known...that if Senators don't expose the Burisma Scandal in the Impeachment Trial...He will, in a Committee Investigation. Where ALL those who had their hands in the taxpayer money kickbacks from corrupt Ukrainians.
Romney needs to be knocked off his high minded horse. Lest he be loose cannon for the duration.

I guess I should maybe listen again, but I'm pretty certain he didn't use the words "in favor" whatsoever. Yet it is certainly quoted in CNN's article.

He would vote to remove GEOTUS in a heartbeat.

Witnesses at a trial. The nerve!!!!

Does anyone know whether Roberts could rule on the evidentiary issue of exec privilege on the spot?
BC I think the precedent of waiving it would be bad. However, I cannot imagine that - assuming the privileged issues are prohibited from disclosure, there’d any downside from hearing from Bolton or Mulvaney.
Here’s my logic -
I am adamantly opposed to recalling any witness testifying publicly in the HR.
It’s almost a sacrosanct rule of trial procedure that a litigant can’t call any witnesses once they’ve rested their case. Those morons rested the moment they voted on these asinine articles.
Further I think they waived any right to call Bolton et al the moment they decided not to subpoena them. They made the purposeful decision to just hurry thru.
My thinking is, that this is the Defense Case. If this were a real trial, Trump would call Bolton & Mulvaney on direct (excluding any reference to privileges communications), and the Democrat morons would be limited to cross examination only on the issues on direct. (look it up). Ive shut down shite like that before and no matter how dumb the judge was, he always has ruled in my favor. It’s that ingrained in trial attys.
Further, regarding the Bidens and the fricking whistleblower (who I would LOVE to see put on a skewer), the Rs TRIED to call them below. I see Nothing that would prevent Trump from calling anyone on that List that the Rs submitted below. And treated hostile - which means trumps team would have wide latitude and would be cross examining immediately.
If and only if I could assure myself that Roberts wasn’t a wishy washy swamp rat, I would say- frick it Mittens - have your way.

That video with the article seems to be from before the Senate trial started.

Taxpayers have been taken to the woodshed by the dems. Enough already. They controlled the proceedings in the house and should have called all their witnesses then. This shite needs to end.

"I haven't made up my mind yet"...is what politicians say when they really mean:
'LOOK AT ME...PLEASE LOOK AT ME!'

Romney is such a self righteous COCK!
Posted on 1/25/20 at 2:26 pm to BuckyCheese
That it does, which is pretty stupid to have above alleged statement from Romney from today. Shady if you ask me. But also in the article right after the alleged quote they also quote him with this:
"I just don't have any comments on the process or the evidence until the trial is over."
And I saw reference to NBC....couldn't find any story on that on nbcnews.com.

How can someone vote for this POS?

Sounds like he’s fishing for a donation.
Shoot if he’d flipped Dem he would probably be the front runner for the nomination
