Mitt Romney represents the people of the Great State of Utah and should do as they wish, whatever that may be.

So sick of this our team vs their team bullshite, politicians should have one master, the voters who elect them.

Let's see what Romney's position is if J. Cofer Black and Tagg Romney are called as witnesses.

Yeah, as it gets closer to nut-cutting time, Mittens will have to weigh calling Bolton & Mulvaney (which is likely to yield nothing) simply because OMB, against potentially having his own shady connections laid bare. Does he really want to take a chance on sinking himself out of mere spite?

My money is on him folding and voting ‘no’. He may be talking big now, but he’ll chicken out.

Perhaps because the Senate has more important things to do than "why not" impeachment trials??
Seems to me that this can only hurt Dems and therefore help GOP. GOP is acting like they have something to hide. Why?

What are your thoughts on racial profiling?
...that it has nothing to do with this topic since Trump is not being detained and does not stand to be convicted.

ETA: Good thing this isn’t a situation where Trump’s views on racial profiling are used, or else Trump would be in jail as we speak amirite

Exactly, and that is why Mitt has lost some ground in his approval ratings in Utah based on his rivalry with Trump. The people of Utah by a large margin, love them some Trump.
If Mitts does anything to hurt their president he will find it very uncomfortable.

He just now said he wants the hear from Bolton.

He could have waited to say that until after Trump's team presented today.

Dude is a fraud. What a pussy!

I just realized this may be a positive.

He can show he "REALLY REALLY wanted to (wink wink) but I changed my mind after hearing all the defense. = not an impeachable offense.

not counting on it tho

Romney voting with the democrats against Trump?

Right?

Maybe if Trump didn't treat people in his own party like shite, they would stay loyal to the party. How could anyone be surprised that Trump acting like an a-hole would come back and bite him?

I hate that fricking guy. If they call witnesses this will last 2 years assuming the President and Congress stay the same after the election.
