Husband’s company (construction adjacent) is still operating much the same as before. Only no one is traveling or working in office. My company (non essential retail) closed two weeks ago and last week furloughed everyone.

We haven't laid anyone off and probably won't unless people run out of money. We make paper for cardboard boxes, our warehouse is almost empty and we are making paper at max capacity.

Big 4 firm has not laid anyone off. We were told it’s the absolute last resort and that there are a number of things they would do before laying anyone off.

I think the strategy is to hold out as long as possible and when the economy returns move our labor to other areas if need be. My specific area should have work this year since it’s credits. Next year though could be lean so might have to shift focus.

I assume the other big 4 are taking similar steps vs lay offs

Have a company that provides subsea and topside valves for Deepwater O&G. I haven’t laid anyone off at our company and have no plans to do so. We run pretty lean already and as a result when we have orders to build out products, test, and ship... everyone pitches in and stays a bit late or comes in early or on a weekend if needed. Me included.

If you want that kind of loyalty you have to return it.

No one at my job or my wife's job has been laid off. Almost everybody already worked remote at mine and hers is considered essential so they have to work

we are still at full capacity, and will probably pick up more work from competitors that are located in urban areas

Employ about 100 statewide. Not one departure. Not one decrease in pay. We project that this would have to go on for about 3-4 months before we would run into problems, and even then, we would cut disbursements at the top before we let someone go unemployed.

The partners took big cuts to help stave off the need for layoffs. It’s a great move to do that to protect your workers

I'm good through at least the end of April. Any longer and I'll have to start worrying.

No one laid off. I interviewed for a major promotion the first week of quarantine and I start next week.

33k employee company I work for has not laid anyone off yet.

Factories are closed globally through mid May and hourly employees will be paid 75% of their normal earnings despite sitting at home.

Some areas in Europe are being forced to take vacation time if they have more than 2 weeks accrued.

Senior executive committee in its entirety is taking an 80% reduction in salary for all of Q2.

That's it so far.

We actually need more people to complete these projects.

Same. Although I have some buddies in the same industry who weren’t so lucky.
