I’ve never been on a jury. What were the rules or what happens when sequestered?

wish I could be a fly on the wall when that foreman lady walks in this morning with her brilliant new understanding of the case and a manicured list of reasons why Kyle should be found guilty of all counts

Guarantee she dug through “research” last night to tie Kyle merely being there with a firearm as a provocation.

Nope

They'll announce it Monday.

He'll be guilty of something.

This is what I'm thinking too. The prosecutor knows his case is utter dog shite, which is why he amended his charges to include the lesser included offenses. He's hoping that the jury compromises and allows him to claim enough of a victory to keep the leftist mob from burning the city down again.

Aside from a hung jury, does the decision have to be unanimous convict/acquit?

Part of me feels that way.

The other part of me puts myself in the foreman’s shoes. Even though I’m very much in the acquittal category, I go through every instruction and every charge, listen, and deliberate.

I've lost all faith in this jury. It's looking more and more like the best KR can hope for is a mistrial.

TV's removed from room. Newspapers clipped of content relates to trial. We had no computers or mobile phones then so those could not be taken away. No alcoholic bevs. You ate as a group. Deputies stayed close by within earshot as the case could not be discussed outside the jury room or until the jury was charged to render a verdict. We played a lot of poker, gin rummy and pinochle. I was sequestered three days before trial, trial took four days and verdict took three days because of 1 lone holdout. Otherwise, in the first 10 minutes of deliberation we were at 11-1 to convict. Three days of trying convince one old a-hole to change his mind. Ugh.

No it doesn't.

At this point, guilty and not guilty are looking unlikely. At least we'll get to know the jury vote tally.

Will the defense bring up the issue with the car source brothers on video?

The problem with that is it’s not illegal.

Rittenhouse’s mere presence with a firearm doesn’t rise to the level of provocation.

Surely someone in the jury room would point out just how idiotic her logic is?

This.

5 charges and several of them with potential lessors - that's alot to work through.

But these whispers coming out do not sound good. A crusader on either side is a problem.

Today is the day for the hung jury on all counts. Face it, the Karen's on the jury refuse to acquit an innocent man.

On the flip side it only takes one person like you or me to not compromise on his innocence.
