he absolutely did the right thing; no way he could have gotten out of the way in time if she didn't change direction at the last second and he was in no position to see that she changed direction either way even if he waited until the last second to respond.

This is the photo that looks bad for ICE. The officer wasn't in front of the vehicle and her wheels were turned away.
Probably still justified shooting, buy clearly a lie to say he was acting in defense of others or that he was on the bumper.

I'm sure there's a Soros funded prosecutor in Minneapolis that is going to go after this ICE agent for at least manslaughter. If it's a jury in Dalhart, Texas, it's a not-guilty verdict, but with several Somalis likely on a Minneapolis jury, the best he can hope for is a hung jury.

that still was taken *AT THE LAST frickING SECOND* when she spun the wheel.
i guess the fact the wheels were aimed straight at the officer when she gunned it meant he should have waited to see if she was going to change direction before defending himself.
you know, he had 1/2 second; plenty of time to re-evaluate.

The Officer in front of the vehicle cant see the tires from his vantage point. He sees the Truck grill, the truck hood and the driver coming at him.

1) This could have completely been avoided if the deceased wouldn't have inserted herself into this.
2) Regardless of the situation, if i'm in a vehicle, and i accelerate toward or near a police officer, i wouldn't at all be surprised if i was shot.
3) This is a case of self defense. Now while it isn't as cut and dry as a car barreling towards a police officer, it is still a person, using her car as a weapon to either evade or attack law enforcement. Even if the video may not show clear intent to commit murder, the end result is her death due to her bad decision.
Finally, this will go down as a justiable shooting. The left will do their best to paint it as murder by ICE, but the video just doesn't show that. Give it a week or 2 and this will be out of the news cycle. If it the video wasn't as clear as this, this would hang in the news for a very long time.
Now, will Minnesota burn again? Absolutely, and innocent people will die, businesses will burn, and the left will continue with their march toward irrelevancy.

I feel for the officer and he won't be successfully prosecuted, but the vehicle wasn't going to hit any officers. Easy for me to say....
