Is this massive push for (maintaining the de facto status quo re) abortion because they know RBG is about to die?

when i saw all the states lining up my CT brain had a real moment on this scenario
there is clearly a coordination and i assume it's to bait some sort of challenge, but even if this goes to the USSC overturning Roe is almost impossible (even if these particular laws are struck down)

Will you cry when she passes?

Hahaha
Accept any lie
The governor obviously would give an unbiased evaluation of the law.
That is stupid even for you.

When did killing children become part of their platform?
They really want to kill kids, don't they?

many states are just hedging their bets against potential changes at SCOTUS.
That's a lie. As with VA and the Governors own words... It's ALREADY a law there. This reaches beyond that law.

Don't tell that to our resident Lefties and people who pretend to be Centrists but don't have the guts to tell the truth.
They would rather argues semantics than admit that the ideology behind the proposed Legislation we've seen lately is so very Nazi-like.

Correct. Continually saying this is the reason for these actions across several states, doesn't mean they make any logical sense or that it is effectively doing anything legally.
The only possible "logic" I can see in any of it, is some sort of twisted desire to make sure they sufficiently rile up the most extreme amongst their base.

I bet myself $100 before clicking that the link would lead to Gateway Pundit.
The difference is that none of them tried to portray a status quo maintenance Bill as Armageddon. You need to visit Gateway Pundit or Daily Caller for that.

quote:This is like passing a law mandating the top speed limit in your state is 75 when the law already states the top speed limit in your state is 75.
This bill maintains the status quo in Rhode Island as it has existed for decades, but is important now in light of uncertainty about changes that may come from the federal government.
The likelihood of that claim being true is pretty much zilch.
They didn't cheer in NY because they thought they simply validated what already existed.

She's shite for a governor and an embarrassment to my state.

Yes. It is that simple.
If they fear the Supreme Court will overturn the status quo, reiterating the status quo has absolutely no effect upon it.

That and reigniting and issue because they have none.
I still don't quite get it.
I guess they think they can get more women on their side.
