How do you pay less in taxes if you make more money, which is what you suggest?

Apparently it is that difficult when you can’t even define it.

Stop being vague and tell us specifically what measures taken ahead of time by govt will help alleviate retirement “inequality.”

This got 3 downvotes. The hive mind is real.

For the downvoters please tell which of these you disagree with.

If you can’t put the words “legislation” and “equality” together and deduce getting fricked over by the government at this point, you’re lost.

For starters reduce social programs.
The expansion of social programs over the decades has undermined incentives for lower- and middle-?income families to save while reducing their ability to save because of higher taxes.

That didn't go like you think it would did it?

At my job, a lot of the black people don't participate in 401k.

They make a good living, but refuse to save.

Not all of course, but way more than White and Asian people.

It all depends on who is doing the legislation.

What policies are democrats going to enact to bring jobs back to areas like the ms delta? Foreign companies have killed areas like those over the years. More regulation has killed the domestic catfish farmers.

Now we get most of that shite from Vietnam.

Pushing for legislation to address inequality doesn't mean they are coming for your 401k. It more than likely means addressing it beforehand so they will have some retirement. I swear some of you people are so GD soft

It’s going to be if you’re black the employer will contribute more to your account and you will have to pay less tax when you draw it out after rolling it over.

I agree this needs to be done, but that won’t advance the goal of ending retirement “inequality.” And the gov’t has never “fixed” any sort of “inequality” by reducing social spending.
