Did yall know that half of black Americans dont have enough savings to retire?

I guess retirement is a basic human right now

Here they come for our 401ks?

I would like to see the employment history and education attempts of those who are claiming this situation is unjust. Let’s see who came from two parent households as well. Do better and stop bitching. If you were dealt a shite hand, play your cards right so the pattern doesn’t continue.

Pushing for legislation to address inequality doesn't mean they are coming for your 401k. It more than likely means addressing it beforehand so they will have some retirement.

I swear some of you people are so GD soft

This isn't new.

Until the GOP took over the House in 1994, it was well known that the Clintons (specifically Hillary) wanted a "one-time" (yeah right) 15% tax on privately held retirement accounts to create publicly funded ones for poorer citizens.

And how, pray tell, will they achieve this?

I’ll save you time: they will take from the people who worked hard and saved, and redistribute it to those who didn’t and who also check certain boxes.

Do you people ever get tired of being wrong. Every slippery slope we have warned against has come true and yet here we are again. Either you’re as ignorant as a sheep or you know this is true and being a troll. There is no option C at this point.

Addressing what beforehand? Lower class folks and single parent homes/out of wedlock babies, a lack of emphasis on education, and a general lack of regard staying away from jail go hand in hand. These choices all contribute to not being able to hold down a full time job. Is this new legislation going to address these issues?

If almost every dime you make is used for surviving then it's hard to save.

Maybe legislation like more manufacturing for better jobs? Money management in high school? Fewer taxes?

Convenient to ignore the fact that many Americans, of all shapes and colors, are lacking the funds to retire.

Doesnt serve a narrative to point that out though.

My brother honkus, why do Asians hate blacks but they never get called racist like us whiteys?

And I don’t care about their retirement like they and nobody cares about mine or yours.

Umm I am addressing it before hand, it’s called saving.

What you are suggesting is more wealth transfer. More laziness, less responsibility.
