Deep South. Gary Bell is a true artist. Go look at his studio. ...
Keller’s has a traditional one. Pouparts has a French version. Most unique would be Poupart’s. Both are very good. Scratch the Meche’s from your list....
I haven’t had any trouble with pins on bolt action rifles. But I have had issues with pins on ARs. My point was I just didn’t want to F**k with and I’m not concerned about a factory gunsmith messing something up....
Lafayette Shooters is handling the boxing/shipping for me at no charge. ...
I don’t have a problem sending back the entire rifle. I’m an amateur gunsmith, and I’ve disassembled several firearms. I’ve had too many screw holes or pins not line up perfectly. I would rather have a factory gunsmith handle it, especially if it’s free. I’ll slap my scope back on, sight it in,...
Call Rouses and Champagne’s. Both stock them but they may be out. I couldn’t find one for Christmas and ended up with a nice tenderloin from Rouses. They may have choice. It's hard to tell the difference sometimes....

I had a good trip in Grand Isle the same day. Nice specs and redfish. The bite was slow but we could have caught fish all day in the same spot....

I saw people launching there last weekend, but I have no clue how you would pay the launch fee. ...

I think GI is going to get more fresh water depending on the river level. Areas east of Grand Isle like Four Bayous Pass, Bay Long, and Lake Washington are going to have lower salinity which means more boat rides west to find speckled trout. I'm thinking the Empire and Port Sulfur areas may have...
