Taking Caracas would not be easy.....have to go up a mountain and through a tunnel (s)......or up over a mountain. Place is surrounded by mountains......and jungle . Maduro blows that tunnel the job gets harder.

Cherry-picking a take doesn't make it any less idiotic.
We aren't going to "war" with Venezuela.
We are, however, taking military action against drug cartels sheltered by other countries. If Maduro is so embedded with the cartels that he's willing to use arms of the Venezuelan military to keep shielding them, that's on him.

We had a Latin American Sales Manager. One morning in his office we looked out of the plate glass window just in time to see 2 F-16’s in wingman formation , pass by. Fernando got excited. In Venezuela whenever they saw that, a military coup was underway.
Not here…I calmed him down and took him to the St Pete / Clearwater airport, parked in the grass where everyone went to see the Goodyear Blimp. Handed him a pair of binoculars and we watched them practice Touch and Go for an hour.
They (Venezuela) were used to military changes. Those of us who are US Air Force brats….it’s a habit.
