We just introduced a long overdue joint resolution proposing a constitutional amendment to require Members of Congress, federal judges, and Senate-confirmed officers to be natural born citizens. This is the very same standard the President and Vice President are already required to meet.

The people writing America's laws, confirming America's judges, and representing America on the world stage should have one loyalty: America. Not any other country.

For too long we have allowed foreign born members to hold seats in this government while making clear they are America last, not America first. We see it every day. This constitutional amendment will put an end to it.

They'd be permitted

The part about Congress is blatantly unconstitutional though. That will require am amendment.

Allow any current foreigners to be grandfathered in.

Do I like that compromise? HELL NO.

But, I'd like to see them weasle out of voting "Yes" with that offer.

She said as much, didn’t she? Obviously in this environment it wouldn’t pass, but if Thune bleeds rinos, and we somehow get fair elections, no doubt LV, Az, and Wisconsin were stolen, maybe Fettermen starts a movement on the insane side, and we somehow get to 66. That’s the threshold right?

Okay, I like it. If only a black person can adequately represent another black person in Congress, then somehow I’m sure it’s best if natural born citizens are the judges. Like if we can generalize on how people think, I will go with that one.

It needs to be made retroactive and rid our govt of these leeches.

You still have the constitutional hurdles for Congressmen
