She is the swamp. Don't blame me, I didn't vote for her.

Insider trading: totally cool if you're in Congress.

Does this mean that we should vote for the race baiting farmer now?

I wish her stock trading had become a bigger issue in the primary because it was well known

For some reason though, neither opponent was willing to expose her

No, Martha Stewart went to jail for lying to investigators.

This case does not bother me. The deal for a Louisiana data center did not radically affect META stock values. So I’m not sure she had any inside information that was valuable for META stock or NVIDIA’s.

If she had bought stock in the company that was being awarded the META EPC contract, and that contract substantially affected the EPC company’s value, then I would see a smoking gun.

I have a management company that buys and sells stocks and bonds with my investment portfolio. For months I pay zero attention to what they are doing, then I’ll pull up the activity log and look it over. NVIDIA and META are two of a half dozen companies that make up 70% of publicly traded market caps in the US markets. So naturally there is a lot of activity on those companies in my portfolio activity log. I’m sure it could be correlated to when I had my physical, when we went on vacation, or when I met with my buddy who is a stockbroker. But there is no real correlation to any of that.

who wasn't buying NVidia?

I don't think you need inside information to make plays for AI.

Still haven’t met anyone that voted for her. Weird we have dominion voting systems and the Secretary of State has admitted there is no paper ballot audit.

Not in Louisiana. It’s absolutely about who votes in this state.

I’ll repeat. We have dominion voting systems that have zero paper ballot auditing ability as per our current Secretary of State Landry

Letlow’s office and spokesperson Matt Smith have maintained that she does not actively manage or direct her stock portfolio. They attribute the trades to a third-party management firm shifting an account from mutual funds into individual tech stocks without her direct oversight.

Nvidia was the most popular stock in the world to get on the AI boom.

Also, how many articles did this nola liberal write about Latoya scandals? I'm guessing ZERO. Can't find a single one. But plenty of him bashing Landry.

The problem with the club is we don’t ever get a viable option to vote for that’s not in the club.

It was just 40-50 years ago there would be dozens of Bureaucratic State Skunks serving life sentences for some of the shite they've done over the past 10 years.

Look, I think members of Congress shouldn't be allowed to trade. But they are.

You guys need to come up with something better than she bought Nvidia. This won't go anywhere. No one needed insider trading to buy the most popular AI stock. Most of you just look foolish, always latching on to every smear piece liberals write

This deal was worth pennies of the overall Meta stock valuation. It literally had no marginal impact on the Meta share price. And if she has an independent advisor, as the article stated, it's clear that she had no decision making authority in the trade.

I'm all for banning politicians from insider trading, especially US Reps and Senator (e.g. Nancy Pelosi), but this article is gaslighting at its best. And the access that state and city politicians have to local deals is not material to share value for large corporations. This is the classic "coincidence/correlation is not causation."

The LSU professor is the worst for opining and not understanding market fundamentals with share price valuation and the concept of having an independent advisor execute trades on behalf of the accountholder. The level of stupidity by the media and academia never ceases to amaze me.

Just because the data center may have minimal effect, it doesn't mean that there was no use of insider info. She signed an NDA and that should scare us alone.
