The machine never directly telecasts its true intentions, but instead chooses to deflect and distract while it achieves its goals.

Ironic timing. The company I buy my coffee from recently had a fund raiser to sponsor and pay for a veterans home 4th of July BBQ sold some shirts as part of it. He made these shirts and sold all of them.

It was a fun movie but not very realistic. F-15 gets shot down. Yeah right.

Who knows what nukes and other weapons were brought across the border...this shite could easily happen.
Millions of fighting age men here ready to go to war if needed....we are in more danger than most understand.

A particular favorite bit of mine is when the Cuban commander orders his men to go to the local sporting goods store and look for Form 4473 to locate the gun owners in town.

Well, yeah, but in that time and place, it would have been harder to find people who DIDN’T have guns.

That was before the state let itself get completely California’d up. (The real invasion that did take place.)

The first Red Dawn was the GOAT but I thought the second one was pretty entertaining.

From the IMDb Trivia page for the film:

quote:

During the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, some abandoned Russian tanks in Ukraine were spray painted with "Wolverines" across it in homage to this movie.

I don’t care who you are. That’s pretty funny.

Fun fact about Rex Dawn. It was the first movie to ever get the PG-13 rating.

Soviet tankers chasing Jennifer Grey and the guys pop out of their spider holes and gun them down. First time I ever heard people applaud and cheer in a movie theatre. The only other time was about a year later when Rambo took down the Hind with a rocket launcher.

Note: In both movies the “Hind” was an Aerospatiale Puma in drag.

My favorite part of Red Dawn was when he said “Stay Golden Pony Boy”….that quote really stuck with me….and it was crazy that Patrick Swayze’s character was a ghost the whole time
