Why, so he can continue talking shite on CSPAN? On the court, he could actually be effective in representing conservative viewpoints in actual law.
The only drawback is age. For a lifetime appointment, I want a relatively young conservative who can serve for decades.

It's time for Scalia and Thomas to go ahead and step down in the next two years so we can get replacements in case we lose the senate. Put some young ones in there. If we pick off a liberal too, all the better. But we need to make sure none of our guys pull a RBG and wait too long.
