She didn't really say that. It is a typical liberal lie. I am pretty sure she wasn't saying anything coherent at the end given the drugs she was on.

Someone at NPR or where ever pulled this out of their arse. No way she asked for this. It is insane against regulations and protocol leaving the court 4-4.

Installed??? That’s an interesting choice of words. I might have used “elected”

People make lots of wishes. Nothing wrong with that. No one is obligated to make them come true.

Last night, my last wish before falling asleep was to wake this morning with Elle MacPherson, Kathy Ireland and Vendala Kirsebom in my bed. Amazingly enough, all three were not present this morning.

Only Kathy made an appearance. God, I hate her voice. I wish I had said Cheryl Tiegs.

enough grudging respect for Ginsburg to believe she said no such thing - This may have been her fervent desire, but I refuse to believe that she actually said that.

Sorry,I absolutely believe she said this.It was clear by her actions that was going to do everything in her power
not to have Trump name her replacement.

She had no business hanging on to her seat when she was obviously terminal.

I don't even believe this story, because Mickey Goldmill told me that SCOTUS isn't political.

Yea yea agreed that the the "wish" is meaningless

quote:

the American people CHOSE Donald Trump to be our president

he lost the popular vote. people need to stop saying this shite. we dont choose the president in this country, we just say our preference and an arcane system chooses the person.

Maybe she should have stepped down when Obama was president not even 4 years ago and she was in her 80s

Those people don’t seriously believe that was her dying wish. They just want everyone to go along with it bc of politics

Wish in one hand and shite in the other. See what hand gets filled first.

Not her place to choose when her replacement gets nominated or confirmed.

If she was so concerned, Barry would have chosen.

RGB's "dying wish" will become the Marxist's newest version of "hands-up" ala Michael Brown.

They just seem to always default to fabricated slogans to push their wicked/deceitful agendas on us all.

RBG should have stepped down when Obama was in office when they asked her. She had fought cancer multiple times, was into her 80's yet refused to leave the court.
Trump knew she was on her death bed which is why he released his list of Supreme Court candidates recently.
If the Dems ever get control, the court will be expanded and completely packed with the most liberal and radical progressives anybody can imagine.
Partisan politics is dead. RINOs are now democrats and democrats are now communists. None of this bodes well for the country.

I think there’s a strong possibility she didn’t actually say that. Kind of seems over the top and something that her Leftist grandkid might make up. Reminds me of that bitch from the DNC who said her dead obese father’s only preexisting condition was trusting Donald Trump and that his last words was that he felt betrayed by the likes of Donald Trump

This IS THE PROBLEM. Her actions personify the swamp mentality we have all come to despise.

Thank you! Focusing on whether or not she said it, focusing on whether she said it last night or last month, or focusing on whether the GOP is going to 'honor' this wish is not really the point of the OP.

Clear as day in the Constitution is that the privilege lies with the president and senate only to decide upon a vacancy. Everyone is allowed to have their own opinions and feelings towards politics. The problem is that we have Supreme Court Justices, both nominated and confirmed, that do not believe in the Constitution and think that their own political preferences trump the Constitution. RBG's 'dying wish' illustrates this and is not being talked about for its ramifications.

I think this goes to show how messed up the law schools have become. There are thousands of attorneys being churned out every year that don't actually believe in the Constitution and are doing everything they can to dismantle it.

I’m pretty sure she called it a “wish” not the constitutional law.
