Trump had a 52% approval rating in Ohio in a dem wave year in 2018
Barack obama only won it by 5 when the gop was the ruling party during the beginning of a recession.
Ohio could be tighter in 2020 compared to 2016, but if you think a dem will win by 8 points, that is insane
A popular working class senator, Sherrod Brown, only won by 6 in a national D+9 year.

Prior to the 2016 election polls in Ohio showed Clinton leading by 5 to 7%. On Election Day Trump won the poll that counted by 10%.
