Yep, Texas is the only one that can, and secede as well, without war...

Correct me if I'm wrong but this would require a Constitutional Amendment, yes?
OK. You are wrong.

Good. Beautiful beach front property is at an all time low. However, there are still significant challenges with buying property there.

Having them a state will require lenders to follow US federal banking laws, making a purchase much easier and less risky.

frick it... everyone on the left is all about, "Gimme my free shite!!" I won't go as far as looking for free stuff, but I will start viewing things as, "how can I make this work to my advantage?"

Is this where we pretend like the government is going to let Texas split or secede because of some agreement it signed in 1845? 0% chance.

Sexy brown ladies

flew into Savannah in the early 80s.. sat next to a gorgeous young PR woman. It was interesting conversation - she was apparently being groomed as a socialist in PR politics. At the time I saw it as sort of foreign and bizarre.

Of course, 40 years have passed - and the 5' 2" and lusciously stacked is probably 5'1" and 300#.. and who knows, she is likely on food stamps in the barrio.. That cancelable? Ah, dont give a shite.. never forgot the 80s version of her.

A bad economy is good for them.

Why was Hawaii made a state while other US territories have not been?

Seriously asking; never researched it.

Puerto Rico is majority white.

We should grant Puerto Rico their independence. I thought Imperialism was bad.

That would require the SCOTUS overturning White v Texas to even begin to be possible.

You think the dems give one single iota of a speck of shite about fiscal realities of anything? It's about power.

No, it's about money. They love their river of pork and programs, and selling us out to China more than anything.

If they know it would fail, why would they pursue it?

To make it look like they're doing something. They need a Constitutional amendment for DC statehood, which they have no chance of getting. It's a farce. Wake up.

As much as I'd like this to be true, neither Sinema or Manchin will vote for statehood. It'd be a death sentence for their political futures.

d.c. more likely

48% of Puerto ricans oppose.
I'll give you odds.

5 to 1 against p.r. before 2022 election.

2 to 1 for d.c before 2022 election.
