So they sent one agent to retrieve a weapon from someone who could potentially be a madman with a illegally purchased firearm?

I appreciate the information. Sadly, all of my guns wound at the bottom of the ocean after a bizarre boating accident. I was lucky to be able to swim to shore.

This is great! The ATF guy had so much ego that he wasn't going to fallow the instructions of the local officer - Being a jerk with a big ego got him humiliated, it could have gotten him killed if the officers saw his actions as life threatining..

The Police officers had an unknown person claiming to be LEO, who didn't fallow instructions and kept lowering his hands (potential threat). They decided to ensure he wasn't a treat. That it took over an hour to release him, implies that his attitude didn't help them believe he was a real LEO.

I recently retired with 25 years as a fed LEO, we coordinated with locals for most operations.

This is very interesting way to approach it.
If the guy didn't have a warrant, this is a good idea to call the sheriff or local police.
I would like to know what went on at the door with the resident. It certainly looks like he had a warrant.

Whats funny to me is that this guy claims to have a medical condition but yet he is allowed to go knock on doors of criminals confiscating their illegal guns ALONE. It makes no sense.

Also, why is the ATF more worried about residents in decent neighborhoods than going door to door in Chicago, NOLA, NYC, etc... In addition, you'd think they'd be tied up with the literal millions of illegals crossing the borders with ties to cartels. fricking ridiculous.

Why wouldn't he just cooperate? You would think he would know better.

I used to think they would have a hard time finding people to disarm Americans until the last two years.

This POS proves it.

A lone ATF agent was there to confiscate an illegal weapon? Yet if so, why didn’t the ATF agent have a search warrant and why didn’t did he inform local police?

What exactly is the ATF doing? This seems wrong on so many levels.
