PSA on how to deal with ATF looking for guns

Not sure if this has been posted… but this is the blue print for how to deal with unwanted ATF.
Just call your local police and say someone is at my door impersonating an officer!

ATF agent filed a lawsuit, and I can see why.
Cops rolled up with a gun drawn on him. He wasn’t a threat nor was he impersonating a police officer and was acting within his capacity.
Yeah frick ATF but he wasn’t breaking the law.

Maybe but he’s definitely gonna get charged with filing a false report. Hopefully the wording of his 911 call uses phrases like “think” or “might be”

He of all people should know to keep you mouth shut and do what they say and everything would have been fine.
If you want to throw around your federal agent title, do so after you have clearly established who the frick you are.

It’s common courtesy and professionalism to let the agency with primary jurisdiction (PD or SO) know when you’re doing something like this in their area.

Officer safety.
The Fed wasn’t complying with lawful orders from the LEOs so tack on Obstructing to the Disturbing the Peace charge.
No telling what went on between the Fed and the resident. The resident might have asked for proof the guy was law enforcement and got threats and sarcasm in return. Regardless, the Fed should have reacted the way he’d like the local LEOs to react if he issued the same orders.

ATF didn’t have a warrant so he can frick off. I’d do the same. If you don’t have a warrant and working with my local PD how do I know your legit.
