Well, it's not "just" a fact.

The context in which you are posting it frames it in such a way as to implicitly claim that white women are in all cases in more danger being around white men that they know rather than black men that they don't know.

Which is, of course, asinine. Facts require context, as even true and accurate facts can be distorted when framed disingenuously.

Black men—very specifically, black men between the ages of 15-44—have a violent crime problem that dwarfs every other demographic.

That's also a fact.

Not to mention—and I've posted these links for you before, so I'm not doing it again—when you control for the fact that women report every single action a man commits and men report relatively little that women do to them—studies show that physical assault rates between men and women narrow considerably, including sexual assault.

And in fact, some studies even show that in situations in which women are physically more powerful than their potential victims (such as in the case of child care and elder care) women physically abuse others at rates higher than men.

So we have lots of facts here (according to the research, anyway).

1. Black men between 15-44 are more violent than any other segment of society, and it's not close.

2. Women are more violent than men in situations in which they are more powerful than their victims.

3. Crime is generally intraracial—which is kind of common sense because people tend to commit crimes against those that they are around—and yet, black on white crime is still higher than vice versa...12 times higher when it comes to murder.

Facts are facts, right?

EDIT: This is your same game of, "Men have all the institutional power." When in fact, 98% of men don't have any more institutional power than women, and never have.

For someone earning a PhD, you have to have a better grasp of statistics than that. Which means that when you post stuff like this, you're doing it intentionally.

I hate it. I truly do.

And I pray every day for the black American community. Change must come from within. Some Irish white guy like me can't go in and change that. It's not my place and I'd get more hate than help.

Strong, black men and women need to rise up and reclaim their culture. They were once the segment of the US population that had the highest marriage rate, lowest divorce rate, highest two-parent household percentage and highest churchgoing percentage as well.

What changed? We know the answer. And for those who don't, it's imperative to research it for yourself and see on your own how policy plays out over 60 years.
