All I know about the teacher so far is that she teaches at Cypress College, which is a pubic community college in California. That and the fact that she's equal parts stupid and rude

I don't think cops should be categorized using blanket statements like heroes or racists/murderers.

Some are some aren’t, same as with every other dangerous job that is necessary to maintain civilization.

What do they teach, pole dancing and prostitution?

the "hero" label has been overused to the point of becoming meaningless

If trannies are heroes I'm not sure I'd want that title...

I would never consider policy heroes. An individual or group of them absolutely can be, but the sheer act of being a police officer does not make them a hero.
That being said, the more I see what they have to deal with in the inner cities and still do their jobs, maybe saint is a better word?

This. Labels should be earned, not assumed. That goes both ways.

That’s not a professor, it’s a fricking bully. Had one of those in college where she and I did not get along with me just saying basic facts. Got 12 points counted off on my first test for putting BC and AD and not BCE and CE.

Her facts concerning the origins of police are pretty superficial. And she probably isn't aware of it.

What is this lunatic’s specialty?
Was she talking about literary heroes?
Regardless - this stupid bitch said police forces were invented in “the South” to capture runaway slaves.
What a miserable human. I bet Dollars to donuts she called the cops on somebody she saw at Starbucks with no mask on.

Being a police officer doesn’t make you a hero. Being a police office also doesn’t disqualify you from being a hero.
She asked him “all of them?” When he described them as heroic. Then she turns around seconds later and says the police have commmited atrocities. He should have simply said “all of them?” That should have been the end of the conversation.

Typical liberal hears only herself talking over the other person and cannot debate the issue. Her countenance is so punchable and her attitude should be adjusted with a sharp backhand.
Needless to say the student will get an F.

This. Heroes are damned rare and specific individuals, not entire professions.

quote:Not sure. I try to avoid talking to him as much as possible since every conversation ends up being about some BLM/woke BS. He graduated from U of Georgia fwiw
Degree?
He's also recently married. Every pic I see of him and his wife in the family pics my wife's mother emails, he looks more and more like a girl, and his wife looks more and more like a boy.
WTF is that about?
