No public money for rehab either. The limo libs can fund it if they care.

Where is the bad part to this?

Seems a bit overly simplistic and not completely thought out Re: "all drugs." In other words, it's all but a completely meaningless hypothetical/proposal.

if you're a druggie, no taxpayer funded healthcare

Why just that risky behavior?

Why not if you eat too much sugar, or get too many speeding tickets, or engage in polyamory?

If you're going to exclude one risky behavior, why not exclude them all? Because you engage in others that you don't want to lose YOUR access to taxpayer funded healthcare over?

How is this a trade exactly? You’re just giving me 2 things I want!

Pump the brakes there bubba. I was just talking about this subject. If it were up to me, ALL federal funding of any type of healthcare would be axed.

Great idea but it would never happen.

I'd go a step further and have all petty drug offenders released from jail/prison.

why is the 2A the only right that requires “a deal”? One does not bargain for rights.

Sure. And we can allow free speech *if* people don’t say stupid isht. Obviously, the OP precludes any right to free speech. We’re off to a great start.

Does the taxpayer have to pay his medical bills?

No. You're asking me to accept the status quo on my side for a concession on the other side.

How about in exchange for an end to the war on drugs, no more gun restrictive measures and the national hearing protection act passes?

Deal?

Nope.

I think alcohol and pot should be legal, but the rest should remain illegal. The family abuse that goes part in parcel with pot and alcohol are bad enough, but coke, heroin, meth, etc., take it to a whole other level.

With the right to keep and bear arms a Constitutional pillar already, the deal is essentially giving me what I already have in exchange for a higher percentage of drug addled zombies, either homeless, or abusing their families in favor of their drug of choice.

No dice for me.

They shouldn't. As a bonus, natural selection should take care of the drug problem in a couple generations.

Because it's a negotiation and in order to shoot up legally you have to agree to pay for your own treatment if you OD.

Sugar drinks and Burger King are legal. Nothing to negotiate.

Having said that, I'm all for charging anyone with bad health behaviors more money for their insurance. It's the right thing to do and the best thing to do to affect change.

Sure, if you want to shoot up meth, that’s your prerogative. Government shouldn’t waste billions on someone that willingly chooses to put deadly poison into their bodies.

Like alcohol?

You know the root word of intoxication?
