something has to give. either the whole system crashes or or we have more massive government intervention

Our government did intervene and directly caused a lot of it. Hence the poor approval ratings.

Pointing those out isn't "disloyal," it's objective truth and where we should be demanding MAGA remain standing.
You voted for Kamala didn't you?

That wasn't the only reason for his approval ratings. He was kept in a basement for a year and a half while he ran, and one of the first acts he did as President was the 7.1 billion dollar weapons giveaway and botched Afghanistan withdrawal.

He wasn't mentally capable of running a roadside fruit stand and Harris was actually dumber.

I just want to know why Trump decided 2.0 had to be this different from 1.0.
Not really that different. Both terms he just CR'ed the same budgets he "inheirted", and added to them slightly. Niether term has had significant legislative success. He wanted an "infrastructure" bill that was bigger than Biden's. And he's always been fan of monetary stimulus.

I didn't think I would have to explain this but I'm talking about the people currently in charge

What was Joey Biden's numbers during that exact same time period?

I'm shocked that you took Trump's cock out of your mouth long enough to utter those words.

Real inflation is closer to 2.3%.

Always take government info with a grain of salt.

The government might price check 100 items while private will price check 100k items. That's the difference with government.

And we averaged 6.5% inflation per year under Biden.

I voted for Trump three times but the economy stinks and they have yet to get a hold of inflation. It’s been 5-6 years of this crap.

Trump is an idiot. Yes Biden was worse but Trump started this hyper inflation with his handling of COVID and PPP money. Business owners cashed in and most of the middle class ate shite. Then he gets in office and deports a fraction of what we wanted and passed the big beautiful dumbass bill that made things worse. He’s an idiot. I voted for him too because our choices are an idiot with zero morals or just an idiot. Our government has fricked us beyond measure and he’s part of it.

He has the keys to deliver a strong GOP win but if he doesn't use them soon, he's going to tank those chances as voters begin to look at their pocketbooks as being a more immediate concern than illegals and pedos.

There are a good number of democrats that crossed over to vote for him in 2016 along with people that always sat it out. I believe they've remained pretty loyal so far. But their natural home is on the Left or none at all. They'll go back home if they are not given good reason not to or at the very least they'll opt out which is still a voter loss. He's failing to give them reason to continue to support him. I don't know if they'll start voting DSA but they're offering a different path forward that could appeal to those voters.
