No faith in Covid morbidity rates what so ever. over here our 78 year old dad congestive heart failure, Obese, diabetic, 65 year smoker, pickled in military weapons chemicals describe his positive results as a sinus infection.
Fauxdemic.

He is old and obese with coronary artery disease. If he were black the prognosis would be much worse.

This is some shite. I want to concentrate on college football not POTUS health.

Do they absolutely have to be in the same room to debate?

I know folks would be concerned about notes, teleprompters, ear pieces, coaches off camera, etc.

It would be different, but it can still occur in some form assuming Trump isn't debilitated by symptoms. Might be a good way for Trump to show he is a badass.

Where I do consulting, we had a lady who was super super SUPER sick with covid .. weighed less than 100#. Just a tiny little thing. The nurses all thought she was as good as dead .. she's still alive and kicking and has plenty comorbidities.

Some that we just knew would make it, well, sadly they didn't.

You just never know.
But some of these idiots are sounding like Trump has one foot in the grave. I mean come on man, I know he's the President and I get that it CAN be serious but dear Lord, the vile ugly people are just eating this up.

(Glad your dad is good!)

If he can’t do much for two or three weeks. That’s not good

If this turns out to be nothing and he’s back at it in a week or so the. It won’t be a big deal

Once he recovers, he will be the only candidate who is immune from Covid making a vote for Biden way too risky.
This is a slam dunk for a Trump assuming he’s walks away from this without a mark

I’m now patiently awaiting the tweet how he has the best antibodies and all the doctors are just amazed at how healthy he is and how unbelievable his antibodies are. He won’t be able to campaign as much as he would like because the doctors are going to want him to donate his fabulous antibodies for others, and he will do it for America

gives Biden his excuse not to do any more debates.

OR - set up a 'virtual' debate from remote locations = teleprompters all over the place.

I say put them both in isolation booths like some of the old quiz shows where they only sound they hear is from the opposing candidate or the moderator.

if he has mild symptoms, he'll just have to use social media and videos/streaming. it's not the end of the world for his campaign

Right. Millions of people are working from home. POTUS will have 10000x the tech support of the average citizen. He should be able to do just about everything, including campaign rallies.

For most people at a rally, they are far enough away that Trump is ant-sized, and they are looking at a video screen anyhow, Carry on (assuming he has no/mild symptoms).

Not to nitpick, but it is quite demonstrably not logical at all. It's a statement of faith, and faith defies logic.

Anyway. As you were.
My statement was neither "logical" nor "illogical" as it was simply an assertion without any support provided.

The assertion, itself, can be supported logically by providing coherent, and logically-consistent reasoning, but I wasn't planning on supporting my assertion unless challenged as everyone else is granted their own assertions until challenged.
