No other explanation for this other than Ron trying to artificially inflate his height. The fact that Ron isn’t a tall guy was never a big deal to me; the fact that he tries to pretend to be taller is.

Is it truly so important in politics to appear taller? And does the risk of embarrassment from being caught faking it actually outweigh just being honest about it?
I really don't know. I'm 6'3" and haven't really ever had to think about height complexes or anything like that.
I mean I know Trump is supposedly 6'3 and LBJ was like 6'4 or something because those are presidents whose heights were often mentioned. But I never really once even gave any thought to how tall the Bushes, Clinton, Obama, Carter or Reagan were.

Your bottom picture isnt normal cowboy boots. He claims he wear regular Luchesse boots. I have over 20 pair of Luchesses (yes I have a boot problem) and I have never seen a single, normal boot bend that far from the toe.
Either there’s something fishy going on or DeSantis has 5–7 inch long toes.

There’s a little league all-star team roster that shows he was 5’6” as a 12 yo. A Yale baseball roster shows he’s 5’11”. So he’s been lying about this from far before politics, and his coaches and teammates conspired with him to do that?

This is it. The lifts probably aren't as extreme as the initial memes made them, but this pic by nc-tigah is def what's going on. That "bubble" in the front is the telltale sign.
