I remember shoes like this back in the 70s. We called them "WOP Boogie Shoes". The toes might have been a tad bit more rounded back then.

If you wear boots that look like this then you're either an idiot or you're an elf who works at the north pole. This is so stupid looking - aside from the fact that he's got lifts inside, the entire look is awful. If you think this looks okay than you are seriously out of touch with the world. Bill Maher even subtly mocked them live, and hes always very nice to his conservative guests (at least to their face during his show).
