She knows the Biden/Harris voters will never find out about her quote regarding the JetBlue/Spirit merger fail being a Biden win for voters.

CNN and these other networks will never mention it....and those voters will never do a 5-second search for the material.

My mother taught me I shouldn't lie. She got that from The Greatest One.

I was just about to reply to another thread and say that she would find a away to blame this on Trump, and I decided to check her X page first. Lo and behold...

Don’t airlines buy fuel years in advance usually?

So…. a company that has gone bankrupt twice, already, folded because fuel prices went up in the past 8 weeks.

That Pocahontas is one stupid, lying count.

And her pretending to be someone she isn’t would make even SlowFlowPretendPro blush… kinda.

My question is around bankruptcy itself. For a lot of businesses, BK really just means flushing liabilities and equity ownership changing hands...of a business that more or less keeps operating throughout. Is that a dynamic that just doesn't apply to airlines?

There’s two types of bankruptcy. A reorganization of debt and a liquidation (business closes).

Spirit had already reorganized, this time was fatal.

This was a fatal bankruptcy as another poster noted. Look to see who acquires the planes/hard assets...the pilots/mechanics will likely pick up jobs with other airlines in a hurry

So then my question still sort of applies: if there is demand for such flights, won't it be pretty quickly that they are still made available, either by extant airlines or by a new one?

No blaming on Biden for the prevention of Spirit merging with Jet Blue?

Also, I believe every major airline aside from Southwest has previously gone through a debt restructuring and hung shareholders out to dry.
