Once it lost the horizontal stabilizer, it was simply a lawn dart and there was nothing the pilots could do to control it.
Sadly we are now hearing there were toddlers on the plane with their parents.

To his credit it was released originally it may have been her 21 year old boyfriend who she has flown with before. There was also misreported information about the woman at first as well.
