There's actually quite a bit of research on this subject for both covid and other mRNA vaccines.

But think about it; both an infection and a vaccine are intended to do one thing: produce an immune response and generate antibodies. You can read about how these work in vivo here: LINK

Malta, Gibraltar, Israel, Iceland, and many others all disagree. In these nations, most hospitalized cases are vaccinated. They are also the most vaccinated nations in the world and that corresponds to a huge spike in cases and hospitalizations. I'm tired of having real world examples disprove everything that the US Govt agencies say, yet ignore these real world examples to the contrary.

Meanwhile, Sweden...

There was an article out saying Pfizer has dropped to 40 something % while Moderna holds at 80% 6 months after second shot.

Pfizer is looking to be a disappointing vaccine and probably why Israel is getting rekt right now. They vaccinated everyone very early and with Pfizer.

If you’re the vaccinating sort, any boosters should probably be Moderna.

the beauty of mRNA is they can quickly tweak it for new variants

Was indefinite booster shots part of the deal? Once again the credibility of jabbers are thrown out the window

I have never had a flu shot,I am still alive.

Should I be dead now???

While I support anyone wanting the jab, you are not very wise if you get it after an infection. Any covid survivors should sit tight until they come out with better options.

From the article he screenshotted:

The mRNA vaccine from Pfizer (PFE.N) and BioNTech (22UAy.DE) may be less effective than Moderna's against the Delta variant of the coronavirus, according to two reports posted on medRxiv on Sunday ahead of peer review. In a study of more than 50,000 patients in the Mayo Clinic Health System, researchers found the effectiveness of Moderna's vaccine against infection had dropped to 76% in July - when the Delta variant was predominant - from 86% in early 2021. Over the same period, the effectiveness of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine had fallen to 42% from 76%, researchers said. While both vaccines remain effective at preventing COVID hospitalization, a Moderna booster shot may be necessary soon for anyone who got the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines earlier this year, said Dr. Venky Soundararajan of Massachusetts data analytics company nference, who led the Mayo study.

Pfizer is turning out to be trash

moderna still okay

natural immunity is far superior (if you wanna *risk* catching covid)

I knew as soon as all midwits on the ot lounge started preaching about vaccinations that the wisest decision was to do the opposite

Pfizer will probably end up being “ok” after boosting. The response to a third challenge will illicit a very strong, lasting immune response.

The joke is giving everyone a vaccine and then still locking down etc. Slowing the spread long enough for vaccine immunity to wane instead of letting it burn out while immunization is at its peak.

Yeah, those largely unvaccinated hospitalizations and ICU’s are really proving them wrong

Wrong study dumbass. Try this one LINK

246 confirmed reinfections, compared to 492 case-matched residents.

You understand that as vaccinated population percentages go up, the opporuntity for vaccinated people that have break through infections go up....right?

We know that the vaccine doesn't entirely prevent you from contracting the the disease....more so with the delta variant. Why is any of this a surprise to you?

Intelligence around all of this grows and changes over time. That doesn't mean we're being lied to.
