And… just hear me out here… yell “shooter!” into your f’ing comms so they can get Trump off the stage immediately.

What an absolute colossal mess.

Good grief why are our cops such wimps now?

Because a lot of them are the guys from school that didn’t do anything wrong.

No drug history……. No pot……. Credit score….. no arm tats…… liberal policies in departments.

I think they have loosened up some very recently.

Did he move to PA from Uvalde?

Serously, don't buy this. I don't recall any witness talk about barney fife climbing up and then down the building when they talked about seeing the shooter go up.

Answer to “who do Americans need guns”

Because cops have no duty to actively protect you, only clean up afterwards. Sure, some are brave but they aren’t all and they aren’t required to be.

So the ladder was there before the shooting? Wondering what people think of that?

Cops literally tell anyone that will listen that their main goal is to go home alive that night. That means they will kill you, allow you to be killed, watch you be killed..to achieve their main goal.

Easy to believe though - LEO somewhat understandably have proven they won’t intentionally risk their life for strangers.

yep. he may have still saved Trump's life despite being a coward because the shooter had to rush the shot knowing he was caught

Good point

I personally don’t blame local police. I don’t care what anyone says, SS should have had those roofs covered and protected from the get-go

Local police aren’t experts on “assassinations”…. The secret service and FBI are

If they were relying on local police and event-goers to cover that building, that was the mistake in the first place given how obvious it was that roof would have been a good spot for an attack.

Okay, let’s clear the confusion here and now. This notion of defend and serve is a fallacy. I once attended a mass shooting conference with the speaker being a police officer . The police officer flat-out admitted in a mass shooting incident his job was not to save your miserable arse but rather to get home alive that evening. I recall thinking - so much for that b/s about defend and serve . Which made me a firm “always carry heat” proponent as in kill the cockroach now, we’ll deal with the fallout later. But then I sort of understand the officers “Derick Chauvin” position as in you leave yourself open to some libtard DA looking to make a name for himself/herself in liberal circles. What a mess. Oh and one more comment - do not surrender your weapons and ammo to this administration or any other administration. Expect the MSM to play the “too many guns in the wrong hands” argument shortly. Long ago these radicals have adopted the “don’t waste a crisis” modus operandi.

Are these the same cops that open fire on people all the time in many dubious officer related shootings and yet this guy points a gun or has a gun and the officer doesn’t open fire???? This guy would have been Swiss cheese if a traffic cop spotted him
agree with the sentiment. However, I have some issues with this story.... so right before he shoots cop climbs ladder, he points gun at LEO, LEO retreats, he then fires at Trump immediately after. So, here's my issues...

A) came from CNN, I'm going to assume it is spun in a way to reflect bad on somebody if at least not completely false. Get that out f the way.

B) Presumably that ladder is behind Crooks as he lays prone with AR15 on bipod facing Trump. If it wasn't behind him, then the ladder and him climbing it would be visible to the SS, stage, crowd, etc.

C) So LEO climbs ladder behind him, Crooks not only brings gun 180 degrees but repositions himself to fire weapon which means probably sitting up and turning 180 degrees or at least rolling to his side, bringing weapon with him all before LEO can draw BUT has time to recognize and retreat.

D) If Creeks repositioned the weapon and himself back to a prone position facing the stage (how he was found deceased) how did he do that so quickly.

E) did not Crooks' repositioning attract the lens of the barn sniper? If he sat up he was no longer concealed by roof peak to barn.

F) Did not a radio call go out? Assuming Crooks is repositioning, which takes time, with a sniper looking at you why the delay?

G) If LEO was told a guy with a gun was on the roof why did he not climb the ladder drawn? He would have immediately been able to engage before Crooks repoisitioned.
