For anyone who (like me) is skeptical of "quotes" found in memes, Trump said this in a press release dated 10-Mar-2021.

Thank you for the fact check, Hank. I wasn't super confident when I threw that up there.

It SOUNDED like something Trump would say, but a GOOD fake quote usually does.

I agree those who refused to take the vaccine and endangered people throughout the world were very similar to Nazis, good comparison.

And they are no less tyrannical, maybe even more so.

I thought we were off the shot and on to bashing Trump now, I cant keep up with you fellas.

I loathe Trump. That is no secret.

But I applaud him for trimming the bureaucratic nonsense and rushing a medicine through the process. People were in a panic, and they demanded SOMETHING. He made it happen in record time.

Of course it has problems. Something developed that quickly couldn't NOT have a few problems. Only an idiot would think otherwise.

But he didn't make it mandatory, and that is the key for me on this point.

Yes, eight years after Hitler wrote Mein Kampf and the year he became chancellor. His views were well known by then and antisemitism was widespread in Europe.

Are you saying that people who choose to just try and live their lives, and believe the news channels because they were raised to believe the news channels, are anywhere near the same as a disarmed populace that had to fall in line with their tyrannical and murderous government for fear of their entire family being tortured and then executed?

I'm failing to see even the most remote comparison here. It's beyond juxtaposition.

I do remember that huge numbers of people, many on this very board, argued that the unvaccinated should not be allowed in public, should lose their jobs, should be put in camps, should be denied even the most basic healthcare.

Regardless of what kind of stupid analogy is used, that did happen.

Most of the relatively few people that did read Mein Kampf, read it after he was elected. You're right about widespread European antisemitism.

1) The shots were highly effective against the initial strains at reducing infection and if infection occurred minimizing symptoms.

Getting the shot at the time made sense. The virus mutated and the initial vaccines were still partially effective (delta) until it mutated again to Omicron and became basically useless but also by that point the mutated virus while more virulent was less harmful.

I am against them pushing more boosters and the such, but the initial shots worked in the beginning and Did help push the virus to a less lethal/harmful set of strains.

In the end, it’s not some high level conspiracy. There are issues with the vaccines in regards to side effects and they should never have been mandated by some. My work pushed them but simply said if you don’t want it , you have to test twice weekly at the company’s expense rather than once a week.

Not all were forcing it or your fired. While some did and I truly believe it was wrong of them, to act like the entire country was some Nazi level push is ridiculous. The media was pushing it and yes even attacking those unvaccinated, but both sides were moronic.

Proof you don't know shite about history. Also pretty sure you'd be kissing Nazi arse if you were in Germany in the 30s.

They were deceived. They bought the lie. Many have paid a heavy price, suffering from blood clots and heart disease.

This is an incredibly ridiculous comparison. Taking the jab was putting their own lives at risk, not endorsing the genocide of 6 million people of a specific race. Godwin’s Law in full effect here.

People didn’t simply get the jab… they also tried to force others to inject that shite.

That's where I'm at on the shot development. On his other actions and the bully pulpit I think he did OK early on, less so as we learned more. I think the people who say he 100% botched it are as silly as the ones who claim no one could have done a better job. Overall C+/B-.
