Probably 100x the fentanyl comes in from Canada. The Venezuela controversy is about oil. Its amazing people will still fall for this call to morality yet again.

Venezuela has massive oil reserves, but it is crap oil. It is extra-heavy and has a high sulfur content, making it difficult and expensive to refine. Their oil infrastructure is a mess since Chevez sized power and kicked out the oil companies.
With global oil supplies trending to oversupply, and billions needed to get Venezuela producing efficiently, it would a massive mistake to go in there for oil.
