U.S. refineries (primarily on the Gulf Coast) were designed or upgraded over decades specifically to handle heavy, sour crudes like Venezuelan Maya/Boscan/Hamaca (coking units, resid desulfurization, hydrocrackers, large crude units). Those refineries have been the natural buyers and processors of Venezuelan heavy grades, and their operations today depend on market/sanctions-driven supply flows (which have been disrupted and partially restored at different times).

Yes, I am very aware that Gulf Coast refineries can handle heavy crude from Venezuela, Canada, and Mexico. They do have some spare capacity due to the drop off from Mexico, but for Venezuela to materially increase their production would require billions of investment, and years of building, during a time when demand is mild.

Always sell on the news….

Buy on the rumor !! Do that first !!

The PE on this stock is extremely high. However, the earnings are equally high. I think the stock is in good shape. The corporate relationship with NVDA is very compelling. The Future is Bright.

For sure...I was joking. I wont sell. Been in it well over 1.5 years. This is a simple profit taking, and a weak market today. It'll be back green very quickly

I agree 100 %. However, chasing these high-flyer stocks wears me out.
I’m heavily invested in TQQQ. It’s scary at times, but it always comes back.

So, let me get this straight. Every dollar you make or spend, you are in complete agreement with all in management, executive positions, and/or ownership in their personal beliefs?

Yeah, ok

I've turned down millions of dollars because I refused to take part in usury if that's what you mean.

I don't have an issue with people making money, far from it. I'm a capitalist and believe in free markets. But this idea that it's the most important thing in the world is just bad.

So you are upset because someone pointed out the right way to act and you justify it with the belief that nobody is good enough to act in such a way.

You're welcome to that viewpoint, but it's pretty fricking sad and no where near right.

This guy Karp is a 110% sociopath.

He isn't shy about his God-Complex and ability weaponizing death-machine AI indiscriminately on whomever humanity he and his AI-based cabal deem as "a threat."

Do more research folks.

Prob same reason people drink. To have fun. Then it leads to addiction.

If we are strictly talking opioids. For physical pain that leads to an addiction.

Probably an equal measure of ignorance, laziness and wishful thinking.

They watch a clip here and there that sounds "reasonable", but doesn't provide full context of the actual psychopathy, God-complex and long-standing demonic agenda

To mold a new reality
Closer to the heart
Closer to the heart

Reflect it in their art
They forge their creativity

I actually don’t think people start drinking problems or opioids to have fun. I think it’s more to feel numb.

Their first introduction to it might be in a fun environment but I'd agree
