Why did you say in 2022?

Because they took deliveries between 2019-2022. The 36 fighter jets delivered during that time period all have the same capabilities. It is irrelevant if it was delivered in 2019 vs 2022

You are about to force Comrade Barron to assume his "Let me explain it to you" position...

Indian pilots should have a unique advantage. If they call tech support they can understand the person who answers.

You said

quote:

This was the Rafale which India took delivery from France in 2022

Then you said

quote:

Model and Configuration: All 36 jets are Rafale EH (single-seat) and DH (twin-seat) variants, built to the F3-R standard, which includes advanced avionics, Thales RBE2 AESA radar, SPECTRA electronic warfare suite, and compatibility with weapons like the Meteor missile and SCALP cruise missile."

Then you said

quote:

Because they took deliveries between 2019-2022. The 36 fighter jets delivered during that time period all have the same capabilities. It is irrelevant if it was delivered in 2019 vs 2022

Now it matters a lot if the jet is a 1 or 2 seat.

You can ask Grok why.

BTW it's likely the shot down plane was an EH.

Here is some non AI Information.

quote:

The aircraft were designated as Rafale EH (single seat) and Rafale DH (twin seat). In fact, the aircraft were modified based on Indian requirements. Starting from baseline F3-R-standard aircraft, they received as many as 14 different Indian-specific modifications.

According to available info, among the modifications, the Indian Rafales include an improved version of the Thales Front Sector Optronics (FSO) system, the DASH Helmet Mounted Display, modified radar altimeter, and modified RBE2 radar’s software.

People really do not grasp when it comes to air dominance, how far ahead of the rest of the world the U.S. really is.

Did you bother to read the thread? Confirmation from..

Indian Government
French Government
There is not a single official statement from either the Indian nor the Pakistani government quoted in this thread.

All you've done is copy and paste from X posters claiming they heard something from an Indian source or a Pakistani source and even then the names of the sources are not given.

So, yeah, not credible.

You are obtuse. All Rafale Fighter Jets delivered to India during the 2019-2022 period have the same capabilities. The 1 seaters are the same and the 2 seaters are the same. They are all built to the F3-R standard. This was not a debate about 1 vs 2 seaters. This was a debate about a 1 seater being delivered in 2019 is the same as a 1 seater being delivered in 2022. All Rafale’s were built to the F3-R standard delivered during the 2019-2022 period. And they got smoked by the Chinese built J-10Cs.

Wrong like Usual NAFO Troll. Literally the OP tweet. Unless you believe Pakistan’s Prime Minister is not part of the government and his statement is not official

"Pakistan’s Prime Minister claims that five fighter jets operated by the Indian Air Force were downed during last night’s missile attack and resulting escalation, with all of the aircraft claimed to have been shot down by Pakistani J-10Cs using PL-15 Air-to-Air Missiles."

2) Pilot training and platform use are likely mostly to blame

This is probably the best answer.

The training our pilots get to even sit in the cockpit, is probably heads and shoulders above that of India.

Just today, I had a very long discussion with an 80 y/o, Viet Nam-era pilot. He washed out, but told me extensive stories about the training.. I can only imagine what it's like now.

What size turbines do those J-10C’s have, and are those PL 15’s heat Sikhing missiles?

You are obtuse

Your English is poor, and you are incorrectly defending an AI response that was incorrect, it's not like you did any work to realize it was wrong.
quote:

All Rafale Fighter Jets delivered to India during the 2019-2022 period have the same capabilities

This sentence
quote:

The 1 seaters are the same and the 2 seaters are the same.

And this sentence do not mean the same thing.
English is a tough second language.
quote:

They are all built to the F3-R standard. This was not a debate about 1 vs 2 seaters.

And this one is also wrong. There were India only requirements on it.

RB001 looks to have been delivered in 2020.

You can keep upvoting your own comments but all it does is betray a very poor skill set in English.
