The thing is that every single one of them truly believe that they would be making more in the private sector.

Do not believe it will be anywhere near that number. People are stupid but they know when they are overpaid for doing very little if anything.

Good for them. Go do something truly productive for yourselves. Oh and make sure you don’t ask for unemployment benefits, you’ll only be taking it away from the illegals you love so much

They will wait 3 years 4 months until a democrat steals the next election and sue for back pay with raises and to have their jobs back.
Book mark it.

Lol
We can't change either, the atmosphere nor the oceans....so no need for the frickshow money waste that goes into studying them.
Remember when we were gonna die in the 80s from the ozone layer being gone? LOL

I think they haven’t been working, just drawing a paycheck for a few months now, part of the buyout agreement for new hires on probation. So they are resigning instead of being terminated, last minute.
Yes, these are just the people who took the deal months ago. They got paid to sit at home for months and are officially done now. But the ones who took the deal can't be directly backfilled, their position is gone as I understand it. If the organization wants that job to keep being done they have to use another billet for it.
