Iran may strip citizenship in cases involving espionage or cooperation with what the Islamic Republic considers hostile countries, a lawmaker said on Wednesday.
Hassanali Akhlaghi Amiri, a member of parliament’s cultural committee, said penalties under a new law begin with asset seizure and could extend to revoking citizenship in some cases involving threats to national security and interests.

It seems likely that if 17 or 34 or 6,352 Iranian ships had run the US blockade, somebody would be publishing a list of details of those vessels: names, flags, where they orginated, where they went, etc. We'd probably have authentic graphics showing the exact path those vessels took while zipping past US destroyers. Maybe that's out there but I haven't seen it.

Translated from Persian:
In Tehran's intelligence circles, rumors have surged dramatically:
-Some believe that Vahidi wants to kill Qalibaf and Araghchi with a "drone" and pin the blame on Israel.
-The ruinous mouse (Mojtaba, that mouse of Ali) is in a coma due to severe injuries, has no power over anything, and Vahidi remains the regime's all-powerful figure, effectively the current ruler of the regime.
-Vahidi has decided to resist and is in no way willing to engage in negotiations.

The negotiators have been "cooperating" with us to a certain extent, although very minimally.
Does that mean their Iranian citizenship status is at risk?

Or maybe we want to control China's ability to control everyone else's access to oil. That seems to be what they were trying to do with their activities in the Middle East (Iran) and South America (Venezuela)

Wrong, Trump and our administration have been doing an excellent job on all fronts.
This is correct. All the talk about ending the cease fire, Bridge and Power Plant day is to keep the fire under the regimes(?) arse. Iran needs more time in the stew pot.
other thoughts,
"Iran is using ceasefire to rearm"...Iran is not really rearming and to say so imo is incorrect. They have all the arms that they'll ever have. There are no arms being made or delivered. They're in a closed cycle of weapons and ammunition. The US however is the opposite. Weapons keep coming into the area and US production is untouched.
"Trump buying time for new surprise attack"...... There aren't any surprises coming. Iran is at war and is as prepared as they're going to be. They're preparred for new attacks and will not be surprised.
Wanted to restate what Omegaman66 (Omega man my all time favorite movie btw) as it is balls on accurate.

The continuation has nothing to do with talks. The talks have never had anything to do with talks realistically.
The continuation is to see how the coup attempt progresses.
Why can't yall see this. The plan from day one was to bomb (weaken them) and then have them overthrown without putting boots on the ground. Have we done enough already? That is the question and that has been the entire reason for the cease fire. It has nothing to do with talks, unless by some miracle at this point they just surrender.

I am disappointed this morning. I have finally come to the realization that Trump is just a blustering pussy. He has done irreparable damage to US interests with his constant threats yet never following through. He has done irreparable damage to the Republican party. I am now convinced that he never intended regime change, he just wanted a show of force. Didn't realize who he was dealing with.
He isn't going to bomb anything. He isn't going to enforce anything. He must see the walls closing in back home as VA is now lost to the liberals, and the Republicans will get tarred and feathered in the midterms due to his lack of follow-through. Couldn't deport the illegals, couldn't fix the economy, couldn't deal with the terrorists he simply doesn't understand.
He will be impeached in the next year, as that is the goal of the Liberals.
Don't get me wrong. The left suck even worse, and I dread who they put forward for the Presidency in a couple of years. All I can do is continue to work towards retirement, and hope that most of my savings aren't stolen as the US continues in its death spiral toward socialism under the Democrats. Unfortunately we are only a decade behind the debacle in Europe. I should be retired comfortably by the time shite really hits the fan in this country.
But seriously, somebody needs to shut down his social media account. He just looks like a fool.
Just continue the blockade for a few more weeks to do some real damage to Iran. That is all I ask at this point from the pussy.

You are correct. This one is not fooling anyone.
What I find most interesting about the way this conflict has evolved is that the US and Iran appear to be pivoting back and forth between entirely different wars.
The conflict started with the US and Israel bombing targets in Iran and making threats to expand the shooting war to "total annihilation." Iran called that bluff. They double dog dared the US to go ahead and invade or try to win a shooting war. They don't believe Trump's threats of expanded shooting war (none of us do) and started calling themselves the victors of the shooting war.
But in looking for a "hostage" to gain leverage, Iran pivoted the conflict to control of the vital Hormuz shipping lane. The US accepted the invitation to pivot the conflict to a battle for control of the waterway. You don't have to invade a country to impose a blockade. Seeing the potential value of the pivot, the US does not appear to have much interest in going back to the shooting war.
It appears that the pivot of the conflict to the waterway has given Washington a better foothold in the conflict. The same tactic that allowed Iran to harm global shipping can be turned on Iran. It is a fascinating turn of events.
By walking out of peace talks, Iran wants to goad the US into pivoting back to the shooting war, where Iran has the advantage. All the Islamic stat has to do is survive. So far, Washington has declined the new invitation to pivot back to bombing and potential invasion.
It isn't clear how this is going to ultimately shake out, but the pivot to control of the waterway appears to have moved the conflict to a stronger US position.

Don't underestimate the importance of those sheep and goats to the morale of the IRGC troops.

This makes me wonder if Iran may start shooting at its neighbors and US ships to try to get us to start bombing again.
