Strategically? Nothing. We lost more than we gained.

IF the war is over and the IRGC stays in power then this was a waste of time money and lives.
I hold out hope that this is nothing more than opening up the Strait while the next phase starts. And that phase being uprising and ousting of the regime.
IF and it is a big if, enough has been down with the bombing that successful overthrow is going to happen then anything we get from them will basically be we save money on military action, the oil flowing and still get the regime out. Remember I said it is a BIG if.

The guy who wants the US to cluster bomb residential areas?
Yeah...he's the reasonable one.
Idiot.

This one is worded a little different...I wish we could get confirmation on exactly what the 10 points include.

Iran's ceasefire conditions:
(1) Controlled Strait of Hormuz passage coordinated with Iranian Armed Forces;
(2) End of war against all Resistance Axis components;
(3) U.S. military withdrawal from all regional bases;
(4) Safe passage protocol in Strait of Hormuz ensuring Iranian control;
(5) Full compensation to Iran;
(6) Lifting all primary and secondary sanctions and UN decisions;
(7) Unfreezing all Iranian assets abroad;
(8) Adoption of these terms in binding Security Council resolution;
(9) Resolution would codify agreements as binding international law and constitute major diplomatic victory for Iran

Killed a large portion of the regime and nuclear scientist. Destroyed nuclear labs, missile factories, steel factories, drone factories, and more than half of the launchers. Sunk 90% of the Iranian navy.
Only real bargaining chip Iran had was threatening ships in the strait and the agreed to stop as long as we stop bombing. 2 weeks is enough to clear the backlog of ships. If they close it again, Trump can declare a new action and get 60 more days.
We didn't agree to the Iranian terms. We only agreed to stop bombing if they open the strait, then we meet.

You...nor anyone else...knows what was lost or gained.
Why does everyone act like this is over?
It's not.

Your meltiness is quite impressive.
That poster was going to melt no matter what happened. His statements are all over the map. He's a major proponent of "Trump is doing Israel's bidding here". Claims to want us to keep going til we have regime change (aka US ground war) in Iran, but then repeatedly says our involvement is all due to Israel and ground war would be a debacle. Really bad trolling, IMO. Needs an editor or something. Judge for yourself.
quote:
Why won’t he just launch a ground invasion aimed at solely eliminating the IRGC? I mean come on.
quote:
For fricks sake Trump, allowing the IRGC to still remain in power will end up being a big mistake. My god, this fricking guy is so easy to persuade that he’ll swivel his position on a dime.
quote:
He’s [Trump] on a power trip and wants to take down the GOP party with him once his term ends. The way he’s handled Iran so far has done damage to the GOP party’s image. Gas prices have soared to insane numbers and the video of his granddaughter being taken to an ultra-expensive grocery store in LA by Secret Service agents hasn’t boded well with the public. With the way that Trump routinely backtracks on his own statements, I wouldn’t be surprised if he drags this out to midterms.
quote:
What a fricking idiot. By not completely eliminating the regime, he puts our country at risk in the future.
quote:
Total war will be the only way to implement regime change. There’s no avoiding that. Trump better think long and hard about what would be at stake if he implemented a ground campaign. The casualty count would be worse than Iraq and Afghanistan combined.
quote:
Sen. Lindsey Graham reportedly met with Netanyahu several weeks in advance of the attacks. This reeks of pure corruption. Anyone who thinks Israel doesn’t have a certain degree of influence on our government is just plain naive. Lindsey Graham is a sell-out piece of shite. Can anyone on here really deny that AIPAC is a foreign agent now given all of the evidence to the contrary?
quote:
Israel has a vested interest in destroying the white race.
quote:
Trump has done some good things but he’s an absolute moron when it comes to making wartime decisions. Doesn’t take much to sway him. Netanyahu has him by the balls.
quote:
Those are the leaders. I would bet that the overwhelming majority of the people who live in those countries [he's talking about the rest of the middle east] support Iran. AIPAC’s worst fear is Muslims taking control of government offices in the U.S.
quote:
we’re fighting for the interests of a foreign country
quote:
To die for Israeli interests? I’ll be damned.
quote:
The Judeo-Christian cucks on here who simp for Israel aren’t going to be nice to you. You’ve been warned.
quote:
Netanyahu is a war mongering piece of shite. Who could have guessed?

We don’t even know what the terms of the ceasefire are and we definitely don’t know if it will hold. Saying that we gained nothing is premature and stupid.
