Statement of the Islamic Regime's Supreme National Security Council
"The enemy, in its unfair, illegal, and criminal war against the Iranian nation, has suffered an undeniable, historic, and crushing defeat. By the blessing of the pure and holy blood of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution, His Eminence Ayatollah al-Uzma Imam Khamenei (Peace be upon him), the strategies of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, His Eminence Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Khamenei (May Allah protect him), the sacrifices and bravery of the warriors of Islam on the fronts, and especially the historic, lasting, and epic presence of you, the dear nation, on the scene since the very first days of the war, Iran has achieved a magnificent victory.
This victory forced criminal America to accept Iran's 10-point plan, in which America is fundamentally committed to non-aggression, the continuation of Iran's control over the Strait of Hormuz, the acceptance of enrichment, the removal of all primary and secondary sanctions, the termination of all resolutions of the Security Council and the Board of Governors, the payment of damages to Iran, the withdrawal of American combat forces from the region, and the cessation of war on all fronts, including against the heroic Islamic Resistance of Lebanon.
We congratulate all the people of Iran on this victory and emphasize that until the details of this victory are finalized, there remains a need for the perseverance and wisdom of officials and the preservation of the unity and solidarity of the Iranian people.
Over the past 40 days, Islamic Iran, alongside the brave mujahideen of the Resistance in Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, and occupied Palestine, has dealt blows to the enemy that the global historical memory will never forget. Iran and the Axis of Resistance, as representatives of honor and humanity against the most brutal enemies of mankind, have—after a historic battle—taught them an unforgettable lesson. They have shattered the forces, facilities, infrastructure, and all the political, economic, technological, and military capital of the enemy to such an extent that the enemy has now fallen into decay and desperation, seeing no way forward but to surrender to the will of the great Iranian nation and the honorable Axis of Resistance.
On the first day, when the criminal enemies of Iran began this oppressive war, they imagined they would succeed in complete military dominance over Iran in a short time and, by creating political and social instability, force Iran to surrender.
They assumed that Iran’s missile and drone fire would be quickly extinguished, and they did not believe that Iran could provide such a powerful response beyond its borders and across the entire region. Evil global Zionism had convinced the ignorant President of America that this war would finish Iran, allowing them to commit any crime against anyone they wished from then on, having removed this final stronghold of humanity. They dreamed of partitioning dear Iran and looting its oil and wealth, eventually leaving Iranians submerged in chaos, instability, and insecurity for many long years.
The brave warriors of Islam and their courageous allies in the Axis of Resistance—despite their hearts being wounded and torn by the martyrdom of their Imam—decided, by relying on Almighty God and following the example of the Lord of Martyrs, to give these enemies a historic lesson once and for all. They resolved to take revenge for all previous crimes and create conditions where the enemy would forever abandon the idea of aggression against dear Iran and fully taste the bitterness of humiliation and abasement before the great Iranian nation.
With this strategy and by relying on the unprecedented political and social unity created in the country, Iran and the Resistance began one of the heaviest hybrid battles in history against America and the Zionist regime, achieving all the goals designed for this battle during this period. Iran and the Resistance have almost completely destroyed the American military machine in the region, dealt crushing and deep blows to the vast infrastructure and facilities the enemy had built and stationed around Iran over the years, imposed extensive casualties on the criminal American army at a regional level, and delivered heavy and shattering blows to the enemy's forces, infrastructure, facilities, and assets within the occupied territories.
The field was narrowed for the enemy on all fronts to such an extent that not only were none of the enemy's primary objectives realized, but the enemy realized—approximately 10 days after the start of the war—that it had no capacity for victory. Consequently, it began attempting to contact Iran through various channels and methods to request a ceasefire."

There’s no way this ceasefire won’t come back to bite us in the arse. Trump is making a grave mistake to stop and let them recover and think that they won’t do something out of revenge in the future.
What a fricking idiot.
Trump said that the military objectives have been accomplished.

We are holding off until the Democrats in Congress will be human shields at the Iran bridges and power plants.

Iran is saying Trump agreed to Iranian dominance of the strait of hormuz

He said he was going to hold off on attacking infrastructure. He didn’t say anything about other targets.

Look at how many posters are unhinged right now, just wow.
Let all of the details come out and then start your bashing if warranted.
Knee jerk much?

I have been firmly in Trump/the US corner in this up to this point, but unless we have legitimate change where Iran acknowledges the deal publicly, stops firing at its neighbors, and ships are freely allowed to pass through the strait, it reads like Trump chickened out AGAIN after doing this multiple times now.
If there's not actual tangible results, he will lose what little support he has left. Because up to this point it's seemed like bullshite when he said he was "negotiating" while Iran basically called BS and said they hadn't been talking, yet he has been given the benefit of the doubt by myself and millions of others.
I was already worried this would lead to a very blurry result where the IRGC still holds power but we claim to have "set them back for decades" at great human, financial, and stockpile cost.
Trump is not doing anything to help those worries here. He has a tendency to pull a win out when he's doubted the most, hopefully that ends up being the case here. But it's looking bleak

Yep. Only way to salvage is if there are still surprises to come

He cosigns a 10pt plan presented by Iran in his Truth post.
